Close to I-25Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: The pool was nice, the staff is really friendly.
Cons: If I could improve this hotel it would be to update the 80's appeal it still has!
Location: It's great near downtown! We went to a comedy show at the Pikes peak Center!
This hotel was close to I-25 so easy access to downtown!

Not the best hotelPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: The staff was nice and the breakfast was good. Liked having a free paper to read at breakfast. We were cept waiting and were offered a drink as a comp
Cons: This hotel was dingy and past it's prime. The pool was a disaster. the water looked dirty. No one would get in it.
Location: good location. You could walk across the freeway bridge into town and it was a nice walk. Proximity to Colorado College good
We stayed here because of the proximity to Colorado College and it was in a good location for that

Good quality vs price!Posted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: The staff was really helping and the room was comfortable for the price.
Cons: Maybe some renovation would be nice.
Location: It was located at a couple of minutes from Downtown and just beside the higway.
Even if the hotel looks a little tired, it was a very pleasant stay. Staff was really helping with all my demand. Housekeeping was well done everyday. The bed and the pillows (lot of pillows!) was comfortable and A/C and heating unit was working really well. I was not expecting much for the price, but if you don't plan to spend all your stay in your room, you'll be satisfy. American hot breakfast was included. It was ok, but not more than that. But I didn't want to bother about breakfast so I eat there every morning (I stayed 3 nights). There's a pool and a spa, but I didn't have my bathing suit so I didn't try it. I would return to this hotel, except if my budget would be much higher for the hotel.

Reasonably nice hotel.Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful.
Room was clean and quiet. Any problems (for example, a burnt-out light) were fixed promptly by extremely nice staff. Breakfast was fine, I liked the scrambled eggs and also the oatmeal (raisins and brown sugar were provided for the oatmeal).

Great Location, Lovely staff, Well appointed gem.Posted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: Location, Staff, Comfort.
Cons: More fresh fruit at breakfast.
Location: Next to a 7-11, Denny's and many great bars. Lovely view of the mountains as you walk out.
The Clarion was absolutely lovely. It was near a 24 hour Denny's, 7-11 and in walking distance to some great downtown bars. The hotel itself was clean, well appointed and staffed with warm and friendly people, paramount of which was the night audit girl, Nicole W. She performed her job with a dazzling alacrity and a magnificently genuine attitude. All in all I loved my stay at the Clarion in Colorado Springs. From the great vibe of the staff to the awesome location, and Nicole's warmth and attentiveness I whole-heartedly recommend this hotel.

Expected a lot more for the hotel and being told recently updated; seemed very dark in hotel; rooms ok but few broken things in rooms; not impressed at all;

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the fan in the bathroom was broke, and the hot tub jets were broke also.

Colorado tripPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed in this hotel for the first and last time. Drunk man in the lobby as I walked in to check in and hotel staff ah remove from premises. Desk attendant had two different rooms listed on the key holder. Keys did not open room and had to return back to desk where another front desk attendant re-keyed key cards just to find out room was occupied already. Went back to front desk then front desk attendant realized we were in the room across the hall. Not a good experience.
