Lovely get-away

I rate the Cliff House as EXCELLENT in all categories. Great customer service, friendly staff, clean rooms and facilities, lovely bar & grill, great food, beautiful setting. And on a snowy day it's so nice to have one's car warm and cleaned off and ready to go in the morning!

Great views. Cozy and relaxing environment. Loved the hospitality and genuine friendliness. Great place to relax, feel pampered, and get away from the hussle and bussle of life.

Simply Perfect!

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Everything about this place was exquisite! The staff, the rooms, the restaurants, the showers... everything was perfect. This could be the nicest hotel which I've ever stayed in. I DO NOT understand why it was so cheap, as it's easily worth 8 times the rate which was payed. Don't spend any time wondering why this place is so cheap. Do yourself a favor and book the hotel and enjoy an amazing stay at a phenominal rate!

nice location. Hotel staff very friendly

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Hotel is very nice but room was very small and furniture outdated. Shower didn't work well. I have long hair and i couldn't get the shampoo out of my hair even after 10 -15 minutes of trying. I don't know about the other rooms but room 209 is horrible. We stayed for Valentine's Day and so we went out for dinner and when we got back staff can in and left a couple chocolates on the bed but in the morning we couldn't find our house keys and reported them missing ... They were in the room whe. We left but missing when we got back to our room. The next morning we looked through everything and this is when we noticed that there was leftover food in the fridge and behind it which included melted butter ? Staff wasn't very concerned about our keys so we ended the conversation as perhaps a ghost took them . Management gave us a 10% discount Also the bar area was horrible .. It took 25 minutes to our drinks and another 45 minutes to get a desert menu. Service was horrible. On the bright side the continental breakfast was good. This was the worst Valentine's Day get away ever. We were very disappointed. Luckily we had a spare set of keys hidden in our backyard so we could get inside when we got home.

Our Anniversary Weekend

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Classic Victorian style. Historic place.
Cons: Would recommend asking if we would like "turn down service" at the time of check in. Having someone come knocking at the door was very disruptive.
Location: Unique shops
Nice vicenity to an interesting town of Manitou. Good food and interesting music.

Enjoyable stay in a small town

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Being so close to manitou ave provides a chance to explore the many experimental and fun restaurants and stores in manitou springs. With beautiful views of the town, this was the best stay I've had in years.

Such a nice place at a great price!

We enjoyed a one night stay here. The staff was incredibly polite and made us feel like royalty almost! It was a bit difficult for us to run our bath but I'm sure if we would have called the staff would have been more than generous.

Boutique Hotel

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: everything
Location: easy walking to downtown shopping etc
We truly enjoyed the quaint comfort of this lovely hotel. Bar service was superb and with a seat near the glass fireplace, we never noticed the cold night air settling in. And speaking of seat -- who would have thought there was a heated 'seat" in the bathroom to top off the comfy bed - great linens -- best deal in town with a fantastic breakfast buffet to boot.

Quick selection

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: The location and the breakfast! The ambiance.
Location: The location is across the street from the post office and there is plenty of eateries and shopping within short walks.
Saw this opportunity and decided it was the best value. It exceeded my expectations and delivered an excellent stay. The front desk person was almost too efficient as I barely got my name out and my room was assigned. However, the valet parking staff were the best! The room was beautiful and comfortable.
