Nice Hotel close to Pikes Peak

Pros: The location was good in relation to sights within Colorado Springs. Good views of Mountains.
Cons: The decor is a bit outdated more of a '70s hotel feel. Also indoor Pool opened at 9 AM, it would be good to open the Pool earlier.
Location: Good Location Pikes Peak nearby.
Overall good experience. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

Got to my room and there was only 1 bed instead of 2 doubles, went back downstairs they fixed it. Took a shower there was hair in the tub.about 3 am all I could hear was a screaming baby next door!! Not a very pleasant stay.

Don't waste your time at the hotel restaurant

Went for dinner, and a half hour later, with just the side salad and bread ever being brought out of the kitchen, we left a tip & walked out on our main order. After asking management whether or not our meals were ever even started, they would not give an answer so we could just cancel the order & leave. They simply asked us to please be patient & wait on the rest of the meal. They literally begged us to just stay, even offered a bottle of wine & complimentary meals. I would have preferred for them to just be honest and say our meals had not even been started after an hour of ordering, and letting us go ahead and leave. Not waste another hour of my time. Overall the hotel was very nice in the main areas & the beds are very comfy as all Mariott's are. The room seemed outdated and the door of the room didn't seem to fit and left gaps so I wondered how "closed" the door really was. I would stay there again, would never eat there (or rather attempt to) again. I rarely do these ratings unless I have an exceptional or absolutely horrible experience. But the fact that the restaurant was such a horrible mess, I am writing this. The management was not good. The servers seemed very good, especially our waiter, who I think was trying to run the entire full restaurant. 2 couples walked out & left as we did as well.

The hot tub was not hot. Just warm. Two other couples were in there & they mentioned they called on the phone in the pool area to send for towels. We were their 30 minutes still no towels. Another couple called again. No one ever showed :-( Just wished the hot tub was warmer. We were on the 3rd floor lots of kids screaming, yelling down the hall` 10:30-11:00 p.m.

Pros: Nicely situated, coming from Denver Airport to Co. Springs area, great decor, great restaurant and amenities.
Only there for a long weekend, but enjoyed the restaurant and our entire stay.
