We were checked into our room. Upon arriving to our room we noticed brown goo substance smudged all over the surfaces of the hotel. It had obviously not been cleaned. I told guest services and they promptly offered us a new room. When we noticed it was adjacent to the unclean room we asked if there was a different room avaliable on another floor as the cleaning staff would have been the same in the room offered. They told us there was no other room for us that was the last one. We asked kindly if we could just cancel and get a refund and we would find another hotel. The woman we spoke to told us she would cancel our next night but we couldnt get a refund for that night. We reluctently went to the new room offered hoping it was just a fluke. When we entered the new room it was obviously not clean either. The bathroom floors had hairs from previous guests, the toilet had debree in it, the coffee pot was covered in grease and finger prints. My husband then went to the sliding glass door that led outside. The seals were non existant and the door was unsafe as someone could easily have pryed it open because the locks were loose. We called expedia about the issue, they called the property twice about the incident and the property refused to help in any way. We left the property and made reservations at a hotel nearby. When i contacted the hotel the next day they said they would not under any circumstances refund us. I had driven 6 hours through a blizzard to get
