See all #### TripAdvisor ReviewsThe Eagle Motel is located in Manitou Springs, CO, a quaint historic Victorian city, with privately owned shops, restaurants, and lodging properties. If during your visit to this area, you want to discover a quiet, cool, peaceful getaway, with friendly people, where you can take a leisurely stroll by a mountain stream, and relax on a park bench, you will have come to the right place. and if you don't want to fight the congestion of highway traffic several times each day, wait in line for dinner, and yet be within ten minutes of Pikes Peak and a majority of Pikes Peak area attractions, you will have come to the right place. The Eagle Motel has always been a family owned and operated lodging establishment, the true example of the 'American classic Mom and Pop Motel.' In today's world, it's sometimes referred to as 'Boutique Lodging.' We take personal pride in our property and especially our guest rooms. For us, working to keep our property in top notch condition is a real labor of love. On entering our office, you will be greeted by an owner who shows genuine interest in you and your needs. We will assist you in planning your daily itinerary, and even point you in the direction of special side trips you won't find on brochures or maps of the area. We will give you an honest assessment of attractions or restaurants that will best suit your personal likes and dislikes. Guests, who return year after year, some from other countries, count us as their friends.

“When the Gods come to visit the Garden of the Gods this is where they stay”
This is a no frills operation, but if you are looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay while in Manitou Springs this is the place to go.
“clean rooms and good location”
rooms were kept spotless, close enough to downtown Manitou to walk daily for meals, and a fun time was had by all
“Good budget priced hotel with easy access to nearby attractions”
Overall this hotel met our expectations. Clean and well maintained. The rooms are very basic and a bit dated but we didn't expect luxury accomodations for the price we paid.
“Cute town, decent motel”
The Eagle Motel is conveniently on the edge of the town of Manitou Springs - only a quarter mile walk into town. We tended to walk everywhere since the motel was so close. The staff seems limited as it is a small motel, but they were friendly and coutiorteous. There is no pool, but they do have an outdoor hot tub, though we did not use it. The room was clean, with typical hotel quality beds and a smaller television (the cable worked well, but a limited number of channels). There was no fridge in the room, which was disappointing because there are so many great restaurants in town and we had nowhere to store our leftovers. There was a well functioning AC, but it was in a separate washroom, which was also separate from the shower and toilet. I thought it was gross to not have a sink in the same room as the toilet. Literally you had to walk back into the bedroom, and around the corner to get to the sink. I would try other hotels before coming back here, but would definitely stay here again if there were no other vacancies. It wasn't bad, but didn't have amenities that I'd prefer.
“a bit bland set amongst grand splendor”
Is ok; room we stayed in had been remodeled up to the bathroom; bathroom was 50's era--very small, European size shower with low water pressure and wildly fluctuating water temperature; small air conditioner could not keep up with room at hot time of year we stayed; no mini fridge or microwave; on the other hand is an excellent location with major attractions and restaurants nearby
“Eagle didn't fly for me”
The Eagle Motel is an older motel that has been updated very little. Service from the front desk was minimal, but all amenities were ADEQUATE. Adequate was the operative word here. The motel is convenient to Pike's Peak and Colorado Springs, but a lot better is available in the area, and it was not that cheap. I was surprised, but the old air conditioner did a good job of keeping the room cool, and our stay was quiet.
“Owner helpful and friendly.”
Hotel clean with helpful owner. Nothing fancy. I would stay again, I felt very safe.
“Needs an update”
This is an old motel that could really use some updating. There was no light in the shower so shaving was real fun. The furnace had to be manually turned on and off and wasn't easy to regulate.
