“Handy but run down a bit”
Good location in relation to bars and restaurants but a bit shabby. Still comfortable though and a good breakfast. Nice touch that they seperate motorcycle parking and old towels with which to clean your bike. Thought it was q expensive compared to other towns, but I feel it was probably Durango wide.
“Great place even better price!”
For the price and the amount of time someone spends in a hotel room while visiting a college student and all the activities, you can't beat this place! Excellent service and friendliness. The continental breakfast wasn't good, but why eat that when you can go anywhere within a couple of miles and eat what you want?
“You get what you pay for”
Chose to stay here because it was inexpensive and has a nice location close to downtown and one block from Colorado College. It's a nice neighborhood for walking. Front desk was very helpful and informative when we asked questions about the area. However, the air conditioning was not adequate to keep up with the warm weather, and we were forced to leave the window open so it would be cool enough to sleep. Of course, this meant we were frequently disturbed by noisy neighbors arriving late and leaving early in the morning. Otherwise the room was just adequate. Advertising that there is a continental breakfast available was a joke - there was a bag of bagels, a coffee machine, and an orange juice dispenser.

“best location for CC”
Really close to Colorado College. Cheap and no frills....you don't pay a lot, you don't expect a lot, you don't get a lot. Having said that, it was basically what I was looking for: inexpensive, clean, safe and near CC.
