We love the Embassy.

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Staff and facilities are exemplary.
Cons: Some of the furnishings need reupholstering or replacement.
Location: Being in the city of Colorado Springs, just off I25, the whole place with shops and restaurants are within a few minutes.
We try to stay at the Embassy as often as possible. Even though we live nearby (Larkspur) we find it refreshing to visit. From the water falls to the breakfasts and pool area, everything is well maintained and staffed.

Vacation Getaway

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Cons: The thing I would improve would be timely cleaning of the rooms and a little more thorough job.
My husband and I wanted to get away for just a couple of days and decided the Embassy Suites would be ideal. We had a very pleasant stay though cleanliness of the room was not the best. The staff was terrific! The food served was nice and the staff on duty kept it well cleaned and plentiful. The restaurant on the premises was excellent. Overall, I would stay again.

A must stay!

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: The full breakfast, the pool, the atmosphere, everything!
Cons: nothing
This hotel is wonderful. The room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The inside of the hotel had 2 waterfalls and a fireplace. It has a full breakfast and light snacks in the evening. I loved this hotel!

Breath-taking view of the mountains.

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: I loved the waterfalls and ponds at each end of the atrium. Very serene. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: More Colorado souvenirs in the little gift shop.
Location: I heard it was close to a lot of interesting sites, but I unfortunately didn't have time to visit any of them.
I picked this hotel because it had mountain-view rooms and I was not disappointed. The room was very comfortable and clean and the view of the mountains from my balcony was gorgeous. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had dinner at their on-site restaurant and the meal was excellent. The waitress was awesome and gave me some great tips on local shopping. Overall it was an incredibly pleasant experience and if I ever return to Colorado Springs, I plan to stay there again.

Easy to get to

Posted Mar 18, 2014
We asked for towels two evenings in a row and no one ever brought us any. We even went do to the desk ourselves and they said they would get some to us right away. Didn't happen either.

Great Co. Sprgs./Pike's Peak Experience

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Great breakfast crew, happy hour crew, housekeeping crew, and front desk crew.
Cons: Wifi should be offered for free.
Location: Air Force Academy, Pike's Peak cog, Manatou Springs, and easy I25 access.
Wonderful week long experience, except for the one experience at the resturant one evening (Wed., 3/12/14 @ 6pm)!!! Will be going back to Embassy Suites Co. Sprgs. everytime we need to spend time in the Springs area. Superb service all around (except for the one time at the resturant) from breakfast to evening happy hour, to housekeeping service, to front desk, to pool/hot tub, to atrium climate. The only disappointment was when we took our son for dinner one evening to the on-site resturant. No one was sitting in the resturant, and we wanted to sit at a table which was nearer to the water fountain. The waitress said to us, "there are only three of you, why would you want to sit at such a big table, and besides, I have two large parties coming in shortly." She turned me off of the resturant. I refused to order after her words; it was a turn off. While we were eating, no large parties ever came in, and I walked around a little while later, and never saw any "large parties" as she had proclaimed were coming in. She should know to allow patrons to sit were they want to sit, especially if your resturant is totally empty and it's 6pm. She lost out on a nice tip, which would have come off of a larger tab. Her loss.....

Beautiful place but breakfast not so pretty

Posted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Beauty and view
Cons: Housekeeping needs to pay more attention to details, and listen for responses when knocking.
Enjoyed our stay, but the morning buffet looked like it hadn't been changed or refreshed at all. The room was a bit on the small side, at least the bathroom was (which had a bit of cleaning lady hair all over.) Overall pretty good for the price. The housekeeping came by at 8:30am and kept knocking until we got up and opened the door, obviously couldn't hear us yelling to come back later, was pretty rude, and woke up my special needs child.
