“Convenient location, friendly staff”
Friendly staff and great location right off the interstate. Neighborhood offers restaurants within walking distance. Great floorplan with couch and bar area and nice TV. Double beds are a bit small to share, wish they had queens.
“Great time in the Springs”
We had a great time! The third day we were there it SNOWED. The hotel was a little out of the way for most of the attractions but we were given a great map and took the back roads. It is probably time for the hotel to get new mattress because ours were sagging in the middle. They weren't horrible but could really feel it in the morning. The manager on duty when we arrived, BJ, was very helpful and took time to show us around the hotel and answer any questions we had. Our best find of the trip was the Village Inn restaurant next to the hotel. The food was great and so was the free pie on Wednesday! Over all we throughly enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Place, Colorado Springs, CO.
“Exeeded my expectations”
I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place in Colorado Springs. The rates are good and the room was clean and large. It was nice to relax in a separate sitting area off the bed area.
“Very nice”
The rooms are very nice. The hotel is well maintained and the staff friendly. It's a shame it's so close to the freeway, some room s can be noisy.
“Nice place”
Loved the room. No hot tub. Hot breakfast was extra
“Great Hotel with Courteous Service”
Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Very clean and modern. Location was central to everything we wanted to do and easy to find and get to. Would definitely stay there again.
“Very nice”
A very nice hotel - would stay there again. The staff was very attentive and friendly. My only complaint was that the air conditioner wasn't working very well - just couldn't get the room cool enough to our satisfaction but then again we had just left Texas and 105 degrees. The free breakfast in the morning was satisfactory but if you ordered from the kiosk, it was a little pricy. All in all, an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
“Great Location”
Great Lcocation - spent 4 days in the area and were extremely pleased with everything. This is our third expedia vaction and will plan another again soon!
“One of our best stays ever!”
We were travel-worn and had been driving from Utah after days of hiking at Zion. How nice to settle into a CLEAN lovely room with oh so comfy beds for the night. Service friendly and excellent, Bistro food decicious, room beautiful, well-lit and quiet. Loved the big flat screen TV and seperate living area.
“Excellent hotel”
Overall, this hotel was a very goodo experience. The staff were outstanding. Very nice to guests. The breakfasts were very good, but many of the other guests, especially the kids, would "hog" the pastries and they would not be replenished afterwards. The view from our room, however, would have to get a lower rating for this hotel, because we had TWO large, satellite dishes directly outside of the window! The view of the beautiful mountains was completely impeded by these 5' wide discs. There is little, if any, closet space... The TV was HDTV equipped, which was very nice. Renting a current movie, however, was $15.00...pretty expensive we felt. The fan in the shower area did not work, therefore the room became very humid after someone showered. Maintenance took care of this, however. There is NO NOISE at all the rooms...you cannot hear any of the other guests in the adjoining rooms, unless guests talk loudly in the hallways, or SLAM there doors shut. Otherwise, the rooms are very well insulated for sound. There was always access to the internet to check email....for free. I appreciated this a great deal. Overall, this is a hotel which we will recommend to our relatives when staying in Colorado Springs to visit our mother. Very convenient to the 1-25, and all attractions.
