2015 road trip LQ room 205

Posted Jun 6, 2015
The overall hotel was older and showing signs of wear. Maintenence was working on some issues. The pool was nice. The staff was nice. Our room was clean...except for the carpet. The carpet was badly stained and smelled horrendous, making the entire room wreak. If it had not been late and raining we would have left because of this.

Noisy, could hear everything

Posted May 25, 2015
I-25 was loud, neighbors were loud, people walking outside of room were loud. Beds were comfortable but small (double size not queen.) room was clean and hotel staff was nice. Breakfast was good.

The hotel staff was very accomodating from the very start and only added to a solid stay until we left.

Quick work trip

Pros: Convenient to major highway.
Solid hotel, good value for the price, and as always at LQ, a nice breakfast selection included.

Front desk was very rude!

Posted May 20, 2015
Front desk was rude when asking them to activate my key card I was told every time I went in that it was my fault it didn't work. Every day at least 3 times a day I would have to go re activate my key card. And when asking them why I had to do that they again let me know that it was my fault and that I needed to stop doing whatever I was going to the key card.

Staff was great, hotel just OK

Posted May 10, 2015
Pros: Staff was terrific, responded quickly whenever there was any difficulty.
Location: Not a terrific neighborhood, right next to freeway - so easy access. Lots of restaurants and fast food nearby.
Bathroom tiny - not enough room to sit on toilet and close door. No refrigerator in room. Door to room had to be slammed to close completely, once not locked after room cleaning. Breakfast minimal - no eggs, no sausage or bacon, or meat of any kind, not even biscuits and gravy.

On the way to Oregon

Posted May 10, 2015
Location: This hotel is very close to Garden of the Gods and has easy access to the freeway.
We stopped on our way to Oregon. A friend had recommended it because of its easy access to the freeway and The Garden Of The Gods. We were tired and our stay was comfortable.
