Every thing was okPosted Jul 16, 2015
As I set before, the place was ok, good service, and clean. The location was perfect, close the point of interest, like NORAD, Peterson Field Air Force Base and Fort Carson.

Lost power for an hour!!Posted Jul 10, 2015
The hotel is not called Comfort Inn anymore. It's called Quality Inn. I drove around looking for Comfort Inn. While our visit we lost power for an hour. Don't hotels have power back up!?? Also, the hotel is not in the best part of town. Hooligans out walking around hotel and surrounding neighborhood. Homeless asking for hand outs in the neighborhood.

Avoid Converting Smoking RoomsPosted Jul 1, 2015
The hotel has tried to convert their smoking rooms, but the lingering smell is horrible.

Good hotel close to Pikes PeakPosted Jun 26, 2015
The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast offered was average but sufficient. There were different breakfast options daily. Great location that was close to all attractions. We did notice the seemingly large population of homeless in the area that made us feel a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, we had a nice hotel experience.

Not a smoke free hotelPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: If you say smoke free make sure it is. I used my inhaler several times and had to go to instacare for a breathing treatment.
I had a hard time finding it because they had changed their name that week so I was looking for a hotel name that wasn't there. Finally called them and they explained the name change. I booked it because I'm allergic to smoke - they said it was a smoke free hotel. Someone was smoking on the floor that I was on; I asked the staff about it and they no one should be smoking. After dealing with it for a couple of hours I asked again if they would check on it. They told me they could move me - but it was just down the hall - same problem.

Tidy hotelPosted May 23, 2015
Pros: Staff friendly
Cons: Decor getting a bit tired but not terrible
Not bad and good value for Colorado Springs. Place is tidy and maintained. What you would expect for this class of hotel. Bed was comfortable and room mostly quiet. Selection of restaurants within walking distance. Bit of a way from town centre but lots of parking. Small pool onsite. Room facing away from the main road may have been quieter.

Disappointing to say the leastPosted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Full breakfast
Cons: Please see above
When we arrived at the hotel, we made our reservations for a king and a pull out for our son. At about 8:30-9 pm the front desk called us and told us that they have guys working on tearing up the carpet in the hall the next morning . If the noise was to much to let us know and they would move us. They didn't start until about 10 am and they were so loud that we had to turn the tv up and yell to talk to each other. They continued to work on the hall way all day not just in the morning, it continued until around 7 pm. There were many times that we could not access the hallway, and we had to use the stairs which was hard on my husband and I. The noise was horrible. Then had them scraping the hallway and then gluing in the evening the smell was horrible and gave us all a headache and we thought that all they were doing was removing the carpet. We didn't asked to be moved because it was in the evening and without warning that they became gluing. I did let them know we were not happy and they said they were sorry but they warned us and that is just untrue. We would have had them move us if they would have told us all they were planning to do. My husband talked to the person in charge at the front desk and let them know how inconvenient it was for us and she told him there was nothing she could do no refund or discount since we had gone through Expedia. It was a horrible experience and we are very disappointed. I am hoping you might offer a partial refund or something. Thank you

Pleased with stayPosted Apr 27, 2015 on Hotels
Very friendly staff. The lady taking care of the breakfast on Saturday was especially caring and friendly, she made sure everyone knew where everything was and they had enough to eat. The food was pretty good too for a continental breakfast.
