“Decent hotel near many tourist attractions”
The Rodeway Inn at Manitou Springs is an older hotel, but is decent for the price. The lobby does close at 9:00 p.m., so late arrivals may encounter difficulties checking in. The manager lives on site and can be reached via a telephone next to the lobby entry door. He was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean. The beds were a bit hard, with two pillows per bed and one extra in the closet. Refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, free wifi and continental breakfast were included. The guest laundary is located on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. There is a Pirate themed restaurant located adjacent to the hotel. Travelers note: the tourist season does not officially begin until Memorial Day weekend in May. Those staying before then will find most area attractions close early, are only partially open or have odd hours. Seven Falls, for example, does not have the hiking trails open, nor did they open for evening hours. Call ahead to check hours for any intended destinations. Overall, the Rodeway Inn met our basic needs.
