Great central location ...

Enjoyed Spurs and Lace and the unique hospitality it offers ... Great food and enjoyed meeting both Leo and Joyce! Just two blocks to Old Colorado City and all it has to offer!

Wonderful Stay!

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Leo and Joyce are the most gracious hosts! The Inn itself is comfortable and very close to Old Town Colorado Springs. This means a nice evening walk to dinner if you desire. Manitou Springs is perhaps a 10 minute drive. Breakfast is delicious! Be prepared to spend an hour chatting with your fellow guests and Leo and Joyce. Leo is quite the story-teller! Unfortunately, we missed two days of breakfast due to early morning plans.

Honeymoon stay

This is a nice and friendly B&B and my first one to stay at. We were served a 3 course breakfast that filled me up but left my husband still hungry. The only downside was a very firm bed which resulted in very little sleep.

Nice but unhappy

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: The quietness and the location
Cons: Tell people upfront when making reservations (or on their website) that there will be no refunds
Location: The location was great and close to Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak, and many other things of interest
This was a very nice and clean B&B but I had made & pre-paid the reservations months ahead and did not have any idea we would have a family emergency and when I told the owners, they would not refund our two nights so we pre-paid three nights and only stayed one night. Now we are out over $170. They told me we could get a credit on the two nights but we will not be traveling to Colorado Springs again so therefore we lost the money. I will NEVER pre-pay a stay ever again.

Unforgettable experience...

My stay at the S n L BB was very nice. Leo and Joyce were warm and kind. Joyce's cooking was outstanding and Leo's story time was funny and unforgettable...You would feel the same thing once you get there and have breakfast together :)
