“would reccomend to someone if had too.”
This is an old hotel. It was located in a decent spot near fort Jackson. The proprietors were nice. Basically, you get what you pay for. I fully expected what I got.
“Not too bad”
Not the worst hotel. Other than the distinct smell of cigarette smoke in our NON-SMOKING rooms, the hotel served our needs and was BY FAR the cheapest hotel in the area.
“Quick stop to sleep, ok, otherwise, move on!”
The room itself was clean, and the beds were pretty comfortable, but looked run down overall. Nice that it had a microwave and fridge, included a coffeemaker, but no coffee, or mugs (had thin water cups). Included breakfast was not appealing...two choices of cereal and a couple muffins, but is in short distance of many enjoyable breakfast places (Krispy Kreme, McDonalds, Shoney's etc). I would recommend if you want somewhere cheap that you will not be spending a lot of time in, but if you plan on hanging out there, go elsewhere. The walls are really thin, so you hear everyone coming and going around you.
“Stay at your own risk”
The rooms were horrible. The breakfast was basically a small muffin that who knows how old it was. The air conditioner in the room didn't work properly at all. There was an iron or ironing board in the room. There was no upkeep of the hotel. Weeds and garbage were in every flower bed. Avoid this hotel if at all possible. It's worth paying a little more to be comfortable.
