older but very cleanPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: very clean
Cons: Because the hotel is older, it could use some freshening up with regard to paint and fixtures.
Location: It is fairly close to the mall and Starbucks.
The hotel staff was very friendly. The facility was older but all parts were very clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a better than average value for the money. I would stay there again.

Very comfortablePosted May 18, 2015
Pros: My room had a balcony. I could open the sliding doors, get a fresh breeze in the room, and take a chair and sit out there. Breakfast was good, too.
The room was clean and they gave ample towels. I was able to choose a room with a balcony. It was also near the staircase and outside door, which made it very convenient to go back and forth to my car. I could see my car from my window as well. Someone had commented that it was not in a great section of town which made me a little apprehensive. Granted it wasn't in a gated community, but it was not in a run down area either. There was a shopping center with a Walmart right across the street and a few restaurants and a Ruby Tuesday. I was by myself, and was not hesitant to go out and felt safe.

Perfect stop if you're in the area.Posted May 18, 2015
Very clean, above-average breakfast buffet, friendly staff, nice pool & spa. Baymonts can be a bit hit or miss, this one is a hit if the location is convenient for your stay. 5 minutes to USC, 1 minute to WalMart and restaruants.

Room key card and fire alarmPosted May 10, 2015
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Everything list above mostly the door issues
Location: Not a great location...homeless nearby and on the street corner
Hotel key card would only open the side entrance doors after several times and sometime not at all. I went to the front desk and was advised those doors are tricky and to keep trying ( not good if you're in danger and need to get inside quickly) also on the 3 rd night the fire alarm went off at approx. 11:00 PM and after 10 mins it went off upon calling the front desk I got no answer. I would not stay there again....

Nice hotel but you could tell that housekeeping doesn't do a very good job cleaning. There was something on our bathroom floor....obviously it hadn't been swept or mopped! The beds are not comfortable but other than that, it's not a bad hotel.

Overall NicePosted May 6, 2015
Location: We enjoyed the zoo and the Riversedge Park
We enjoyed our stay however after the second night we realized that there were spots on the comforter. We informed the front desk and they were apologetic and comped us.
