Hotel close to downtown

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Close to the center of the city
Cons: The beds were not the most comfortable in the world. Would be nice to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Location: close to the center of the city; close to capitol and governer's mansion; short drive to the Capitol Mall and strip malls.
Since we booked with Expedia it was easier to check in. Especially since the hotel computer was down. This was the first time we had ever used Expedia. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff was polite and accomodating. An older hotel but well kept. Although we didn't partake, the breakfast looked really good. Would stay here again when in Jefferson City.

Okay

Staff was really nice. Bathroom was really small and walls really thin. We could hear people down the hall and all the traffic out side all night.

Close to the Capitol Building

Posted Feb 24, 2014
This Hotel was close to where my conference was. It is in a nice location. You don't have to get in your car and drive to get something to eat. There are restaurants near by.

Wall are paper thin

Posted Jan 27, 2014
Atlhough everyone was nice, the room walls were paper thin. I could hear the person next door talking on their phone and listening to television all night. Not to mention there were loud children running up and down the hallways the last night i was there which put me in a really bad mood considering I had an early flight out the next morning.

Pros: The staff seem friendly
Cons: Basically answered that above
Location: The location really close to the highway, in fact to close, the capital building is 10 min
I felt the hotel needs renovation, the restroom was small and needed areas chalked, for the price of the room 80, I had to leave the hotel to get something to eat, and don't plan on arriving before the check in time of 3, I was told that the room wouldn't be ready until after that time, so I did visit the capital building which is really amazing, would I stay there again. Not a bad stay

Posted Dec 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall a nice hotel. Room was clean and had everything we could have needed for a night stay. Our key card got deactivated during our stay somehow but a quick trip to the front desk fixed that. The hallway exit door banged every time someone went through it so we woke up a little earlier than we wanted. Maybe fix the closer on that so it's quieter. Other than that, it was a nice place and we'd stay there again.

You get what you pay for with the "free" breakfast

The tub drain trim was rust and the "free" breakfast was the worst I have ever had at any hotel.

Baymont inn

Posted Dec 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The inn was nice rooms were very nice sized. Location was great for the wedding we were attending. Cleanliness was needed. Dust was on tops of closet bathroom exhaust fan was full of dirt and there was previous tenants privates hair on bathroom floor, and rust was on shower head. Bathroom was very old but we were just glad to get inside from the cold and snow after the late nite drive. So I didn't ask off a different room, if had been early evening they would have given me a cleaner room.
