Quiet, restful place.Posted Jul 29, 2013
Cons: The only thing that was "average" about this property was the breakfast, nothing special.
The bed was GREAT! The Indian restaurant close to this property was absolutely amazing as well. I'd definitely stop at this property again.

It was ok, but I wouldn't want to stay again.Posted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: The staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy and hassle free.
Cons: A lot could be improved. They need to do a lot of upgrading. Some type of privacy fence or something in the pool area is needed as well.
Location: The location was great! It was right off the interstate and close to a lot of good restaurants. And just a few minutes from the Riverbanks Zoo!
We got 2 rooms and 1 was fine, it was clean, a little out dated but nothing to bad. But the other room was awful! There was a leak over the toilet and the toilet above was leaking all over our towels and toilet. And there was a hole in the ceiling from the leak and it felt like someone could look through it. Just very unappealing to say the least. And then all of our pillows had hairs on them, and the sink and counter had hairs on them as well. It was gross! And then the pool area was awful. We took the kids and it was fine at first but the whole 2 hours we were there about 3 or 4 men drove up and parked in the parking lot, never going inside to check in, and backed up to where they were staring right at us the whole time, after about 30 minutes they would just leave. It was very uncomfortable and when we told the woman at the front desk she didn't seem to concerned and said she would check the cameras. And don't even get me started on the breakfast. It was pathetic! We left early and had to go get breakfast at McDonalds. Our experience at this hotel was not that great, and I left feeling disappointed.

Out-dated but OK for a quick, 1-night stayPosted Jul 7, 2013
Pros: Continental breakfast, staff
Cons: Hotel needs major updates
Out-dated and runned down. Could have stay somewhere similar for less. The one good thing about this hotel was the Continental breakfast....it was one of the better breakfasts we've had and even offered hot foods. Staff was friendly.

Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly, even coming to check on me after I checked in to see that I had everything I needed.

for Overnight Stay Before Destinationby Keith from Indianapolis
great stay just west of downtownPosted May 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for an overnight before heading to our vacation destination. We were pleasantly surprised by the convenient location and services provided at this hotel. The breakfast was a typical full breakfast but staff made it a good experience by being attentive to guests. The neighborhood provided a great morning walk and a nearby mall is also good for walking if you don't like hills.

A Nice BreakPosted May 20, 2013
Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Location: The river area (where 3 rivers converge) was one exits up the road, and the zoo was even closer. The state house is just blocks away from USC.
I made these reservations months before my daughter was due to graduate from the University of South Carolina - I had heard horror stories of parents who could not find hotel rooms for graduation and I did not want to be driving all over creation just for a hotel room. The hotel was nice and clean, quiet and only about 4 or 5 miles from campus. The staff actually opened the breakfast hall early for us, as so many people were there for the graduation. It was a substantial breakfast with bacon, sausage and eggs, plus waffles, cereal and bakery items as opposed to a continental breakfast. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in the area.
