“Average stay”

Hotel staff is very helpful and nice. Not much to do in surroinding area though.

“Did not get what we reserved-2 king beds-none available”

We had to ask for the following: wash cloth (only 1 in room), coffee-none in room, sheets for sofa bed, remole did not work, The only thing different was some paint on the walls.

“I would not stay here even if it a room was given to me for free!!”

The hotel is dirty and smelly, the coffe pot and hair dryer was not functional and the service was down right AWFUL!!!!!! I have never been treated soo badly at a hotel before. I will camp out at in my vehicle before I would ever stay here again!

“Needs a lot of work, too pricey for what you get”

This place can't be too bad, since I've stayed the last two times I've been to Columbia, mostly due to its location, and the fact that, while still overpriced, it's less costly than several other nearby motels. It is an old Days Inn that needs a lot of work. Carpets in hallways are filthy, or at least so old they look that way. Same can be said for the large tubs. They're clean, but look so dirty they're not very appealing - the old "marble," or whatever it is, just looks filthy. I do love the balconies, though, and the fact there are still some motels in the universe that allow smoking. (Even though both times I've been there have been no ashtrays provided in the "smoking" rooms.) The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, especially when considering it was free. Eggs, biscuts and gravy, fruit, pastries, a waffle maker. Not bad. Overall, I'd say I'd go again, but hope they will continue what I've been told is a makeover. For anyone who's even slightly picky, you will not be happy here.

“Never again”

Stained carpets, clothes left in hallways (not kidding)I realize they are remodeling, but seriously, if you cannot give better environment, close during the project. I will never stay again. Too bad I purchased online....I would have never picked this place if I had seen it firsthand.

“Dirty and worn out.”

The hallways were dirty and smelled, both lights in the bath room were burnt out I had to had them replaced. Most of the lamps in the room either had no bulbs or did not work. The furniture was stained and old the dining table look like it was ready to fall apart. The room looked like it had not be updated in about 10to15 years. Would not stay there again .

“Not Impressed”

We went on a mini vacation with our children and online it looked like a nice hotel with an indoor pool. Online it didn't bother to tell us that the hotel was currently being remodeled. We were stuck in a room that didn't even have a bathroom door. The non smoking room smelled musty and like smoke. I know we won't stay at this hotel again.
