“would definetly go back”

Went to this hotel for our sons graduation from ft Jackson . It was a little further than we expected but the service, helpfulness , cleanliness and friendly employees throughout the hotel are second to none . From breakfast to a couple of drinks at the bar ,the front desk everyone is polite helpful . Great dinning at Columbos Restaurant enjoyed our stay definitely Will b back .

“Doubletree”

Everything was good except for these points: The mattress was extremely uncomfortable despite being one where you can adjust the setting, it seemed to slope downward in the middle. The other problem was when I went to take a shower there was somebody's hair in several areas of the shower wall. Other than that, it was fine. Front desk staff was great, people who ran the shuttle could have opened the door for the passenger, that would have been nice. The last problem was being put in a room which overlooked air conditioners and the freeway, despite the hotel being almost empty, I guess it was because I went through Expedia? The noise level at night was bothersome.

“Double Tree Hilton Columbia South Carolina”

I would not recommend this hotel to any traveler. I requested a floor high up and was assigned the first floor with parking lot lights and noise directly in the room. Curtains would not close, air did not work properly and there was a lot of noise in hallway. Smoking was allowed at the entrance to the hotel doorways and the area was not well patroled. I did not feel safe traveling alone in this area. This hotel was to expensive not to receive the basics.

“will remember this chain”

Great restaurant and room service. We asked for the quietest possible room to keep our dog quiet, and they insisted on putting us directly next to the outside doors and elevator. Brainless.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

My daughter is a student at University of South Carolina and the three times we had visited before we paid high prices to stay close to campus and downtown in Columbia. We ventured out to stay at the Doubletree for our recent stay and it was only 5 miles to campus and conveniently located near the interstate. The commute was so easy and took less than l0 minutes. The hotel was beautiful. Beds were so comfortable and you can't beat a warm chocolate cookie on arrival. The fitness room was free and well-equipped. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the hotel.

“Would highly recommend-great value for your money”

We stayed in this hotel overnight after we moved our daughter into her college dorm at USC. The room was very nice, super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Check in took 1 minute and I got couple delicious chocolate chip cookies:) Great value for your money!!!
