“Econolodge review.”
Was surprised to find such a low cost hotel had a fridge, iron, ironing board, microwave, coffee, and coffee pot in the room. I gave it an ok on cleanliness because the carpet had not been vacuumed but the beds were very clean. Quality of staff and their service was a 4 because the lady behind the desk in the morning could have been nicer when she had to come turn on the orange juice machine for breakfast instead of the body jerk she gave because she was irritated at me interrupting her breakfast. Condition and upkeep only got a 4 because the coffee pot did not have a carafe. If I had actually wanted to use it, it would have been much lower. Overall, a great hotel for the price. I will use it again.
“had everything I needed”
I probably have different needs than you do, but a quiet, clean room is first followed by frig, microwave, highspeed effortless wireless, and front 3 prongs on the tv that automatically engaged the aux when my ipod was plugged in made me very very happy. I can't ask for much more in a room.
“Excellent Value”
Good friendly staff. Excellent value. Hot Breakfast w. Biscuits and Gravy.
“Always stay here when visiting Jeff City”
Don't know what people are whining about. It's an Econo Lodge, not a 5-star luxury hotel. If that's what you want find another location. If you want a basic room with everything you need for the night, the is the place to stay. If you have a lot of luggage best to try and get a ground floor room if possible (no elevator). This is the best Econo Lodge I have stayed in and the owner makes sure everything stays in good shape.
“Great stay for an inexpensive hotel.”
This was a great inexpensive hotel! Checkin was easy, fast and friendly. Any hotel staff I saw had a smile and were very willing to offer help if needed. The property was well tended and my room was clean and tidy. Housekeeping serviced it and replenished all the complementary items (soap, shampoo and coffee) every day. The breakfast was ok. I would like to have seen some fresh fruit, but, hey, it's free! I usually stay in Jeff. City once a year and just pick the cheapest available hotel, but next year, I'm going to check at the Econo Lodge first.
“Not bad at all!”
The girl at the front counter was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and esthetically pleasing. The beds were very comfortable. It was quiet both nights we stayed. The continental breakfast wasn't too bad considering we came down around 8:30 both mornings. The only problems were the stopper in the tub did not hold water and the heater was very touchy when adjusting the temperature.
“Econo Lodge”
We had a little trouble finding the place, and were late arriving. It seemed when we got there that the night attendant had been sleeping and wasn't very happy to see us. Other than that though he was polite. The room was clean and comfortable and you couldn't beat the location. Close to everything we needed the next day.
“Econo - TAK”
Pretty good to stay for a night or two. Closely located to visit downtown area. Good restaurants at the vicinity.
“Bargain in Jeff City”
The staff at the hotel were great; it was a very inexpensive hotel, and the facility was very typical of what you would expect from a hotel of that type. I had to interact with the hotel staff a couple of times and found them to be really helpful, which I appreciated. An OK spot for a night or two in Jefferson City.
“it was ok”
it was not bad for the price but could have used some bath towels.
