“Will definitely stay here again”

We really enjoyed our 1-night stay at this 4-story Hampton right next to the University. The beds were super comfortable and the comforters were ultra white, which means they are kept clean. The room was spotless and was quite spacious. I only gave a 4 for the condition because there was a shelf missing in the shower and there was some obvious damage to the bottom of the vanity in the bathroom. Neither detracted from our stay, however, so I was hesitant to give the downgrade. The complimentary breakfast was hot and fresh, with a much bigger selection than most hotels: oatmeal, Western style omelets, you-make Belgian waffles, selection of danishes, fresh orange juice and coffee, cold cereals, etc. There's a large seating section with a fireplace where you can sit and eat. Parking was great as well. I'm just disappointed that I didn't have time to try out the indoor pool!

“GREAT PLACE FOR THE MU SPORTS FAN!!”

If you are attending any sporting event at the University of Missouri, this is the ONLY motel you should consider. You can easily walk to anything without the inconvenience of finding parking at either the Memorial Stadium, Hearnes, or the MIZZOU arena. I only wish it had more rooms because it fills up fast for the football weekends. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a real plus and, compared to other motels that offer a similar amenity, was quite tasty. Coffee was GREAT! REAL NICE PLACE TO STAY.

“Very nice hotel.”

The hotel is very nice - built three years ago it still looks new. The staff was helpful and friendly at all times. The bed was comfortable. The layout of the room was a bit quirky - the TV stand was parallel to the bed and perpendicular to the sofa, so there was no way to see it perfectly from either. We don't watch TV so it didn't matter for us. Also the light switches were not placed in obvious locations - the toilet light was on the outside but at the same level as the main vanity light. The sink is in the main room, not in the bathroom. On the plus side, we got a room with a kitchenette.

We were very pleased with the accomodations and service at this hotel. The beds were 1st rate and cleanliness was impeccable too. The continental breakfast was wonderful and the area to eat was very welcoming with plenty of seating area along with televisions for viewing morning news. We will most certainly want to stay here on returning trips.

“Comfortable and Inviting”

This was the first time that I had traveled to Columbia, Missouri for my distance Master's program. I have stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites before but this one was by far the best. It was so warm and inviting with the fire place and the leather couches in the common area. My room was very inviting and comfortable. The decor was beautiful and I felt like I was on a retreat. Though my schedule at MU was very hectic while I was on campus, my stay at the Hampton provided me with a much needed comfort and relaxation.

Great location in a wonderful city. If you enjoy walking, iits a nice walk to the university or into town.. Breakfast area is unusually nice. We'll be back.

“Going To Mizzou Arena? This is your best bet!”

Nice hotel. Very clean. Was in town for a concert at the Mizzou Arena. Even in a foot of snow, it was just a couple minute walk. Easy to find. Was great to have the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel as well. Kept us from having to drive anywhere. There's also a gas station just across the parking lot that is also very convenient.

“Well Satisified”

Our stay was everything we expected and more. We chose this hotel because of it's location and the fact that it's standard rooms had two queen size beds. The attached University Grill was great for dinner and the hotel free breakfast buffet was on of the best I've seen.

“Nice Hotel in Quiet Neighborhood”

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was "roomy"--enough space to move around in (especially since we were traveling with our son who is in a wheelchair), it was very clean, had good water pressure, a nice (but not the world's best) breakfast, and was in a nice quiet location. The staff was very friendly as well. The only negatives we found are common to a lot of hotels: The bed pillows were too flat, and the room needed better lighting.
