“Great Hotel - Especially If You Stay In Your Room”

This hotel was great even though it's off in the 'burbs. The room was large and well maintained with decent decorating, flatscreen, etc. Quiet even though it was near the elevators. I was worried I would have to ask for another one but I never heard a thing. My girlfriend & I appreciated the in room refrigerator even though we didn't have occasion to use it. All hotel rooms should have such an amenity. If this place were located next door to the Hilton President in KC I would rather stay here... even if they were equally priced! I can't comment on the behaviour of staff at either establishment as I generally try to avoid unnecessary interactions with random employees.

“Just what we needed”

We were looking for a hotel on the outskirts of Columbia after a trip through Missouri Wine Country. The access off of I-70 was perfect and the hotel staff were very professional and friendly.

A well managed hotel with an accommodating staff. Very clean and well appointed room. Every room in the hotel was occupied the weekend we were there and it was still very quiet and the service was first class. If a room is available we will stay there again.

“Quality, comfort and a great location with little traffic surrounding!”

This hotel is very nice and the money is certainly acceptable for what you get. Coffee, microwave, hair drier, and refrigerator in the room. The room I was in had a sleep number bed, but I didn't realize it until I was leaving! Wouldn't matter, it was comfortable without it! The area around it is a little shopping center with a Bass Pro store and a couple of options for dining, Ruby Tuesday, Lonestar Steakhouse and of course the hotel dining as well. There is little traffic right around the hotel so it makes for a very nice, peaceful walk to dinner or shopping.

“Very nice affordable hotel”

This hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly, accomodating and helpful. Beds were very comfortable, pool area was clean. Breakfast was inexpensive and tasty.

In town for a wedding and a great stay with some great ammenities.

“Hotel was good, not happy with room”

I have stayed at this hotel before, but this time I was disappointed, because we requested a non-smoking room, and the room REAKED of smoke as soon as we walked in. I get migraines and am frequently triggered by odors, and I had a headache the entire time we were in the room. Thankfully it was only for one night. We requested a different room, but it was not available. Housekeeping was sent to "freshen" the room, which basically meant that they sprayed some air freshener. The linens weren't changed or anything. There was no discount or refund offered for our experience. It was disappointing.

“Good choice for this town”

Very clean, good service at desk. Rooms are a nice size. Small restaurant/bar on site. Breakfast is particularly good compared to other offerings in town. One of the best in a town that is lacking in good accommodations. A bit pricey for the area.

I liked the hotel a lot in terms of the quality of the room, however the bathroom had hair in it.

“Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke!”

I did not like the fact that their nonsmoking hotel had rooms that had once been smoked in and still smelled awful.
