A well run motel - good check in - room was excellent very modern and very clean - the complimentary breakfast was about the best we have seen - an unqualified reccomendation

We loved our room, but the hot tub only had one jet working and the spa area was out of towels at 7 p.m. Food was good with lots of selections.

Overall, for an affordable night in Jeff City, Holiday Inn Express works just fine. Bed was pretty comfortable, and I love that they supply--and LABEL--pillows that are soft and firm. Good breakfast selection, too. HOWEVER...if you think you will get to stay in your room, undisturbed despite the DND sign on the door, think again. The over-eager staff knocked on my door THREE times to see if they could clean. They literally stood outside the door and knocked every ten minutes between 9:30 and 9:50. I finally told them to give me ten more minutes and I would be out. Checkout isn't until 11. I felt rushed and forced out of my room early. I appreciate they were probably trying to be efficient, but it was kind of rude. This hotel is relatively new, so everything was stil in pretty good shape. Good for a single night and somewhere to crash.
