Older hotel in need of renovation and deep cleanPosted May 3, 2015
This hotel was probably nice 20 years ago. It is pretty run down and needed a good clean from carpets to windows. Ceilings in bathroom had moisture stains. The breakfast was good. The pool was large and in good condition.

Not worth what I paid.Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Check in was relatively quick
Cons: Internet was non-existent. Whole room smelled like mold. Furniture/dresser was broken. Did not feel safe there. Very rough and needs renovation badly.
First time staying at this facility and it will be my last. The staff was okay but the facility is awful. I realize that it was alumni weekend at Mizzou but 100 bucks a night was crazy.

Great for the Rate.Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Breakfast; easily accessed; comfortable rooms
Cons: Needs an uplift
Location: Right off interstate (don't hear traffic); found easy access to things around Columbia. Not pedestrian friendly.
Got a great price for a comfortable room, and the best hotel breakfast I can remember! The hotel is initially dreary--it needs to be renovated. Not thrilled with my first impression. However, the room was quite comfortable with a great shower. Slept well. Then went to breakfast and was shocked by the spread. I ate a hearty breakfast both days I was there, and only had one more meal for the day. Staff was pleasant and helpful. If you're not concerned about a lot of frills and you want to watch your pocketbook, I'd strongly recommend this place.

Over Night StayPosted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows. Shower with lots of hot water. Good hot breakfast:)
Cons: Can use an upgrade, clean up around the edges.
Location: 5 minutes from where I was taking class. Easy off the fwy, close to good restaurants and shopping.
Have been here before when I worked at the U. Needs a little upgrade but still a nice place to stay.

The hotel is very outdated and is in a drastic need for a renovation. The room was not very clean and needs maintenance.

1 star at bestPosted Feb 4, 2015 on Hotels.com
Hotel was misrepresented online. The hotel was embarrassing, run down, and outdated. We stayed one night and then changed hotels because bed was very uncomfortable and woke up to cockroach in the bathroom.

Deceived by the website picturesPosted Feb 1, 2015 on Hotels.com
Hotel was run down, doors didn't work, no water pressure, mattress felt like I box spring, no water pressure in the shower, decor and tv are from the 1970's. And to top it off a cockroach was crawling on me when I woke up. We checked out after the first night and changed hotels. We will never be back.

You get what you pay for.Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: Good price, friendly staff
Cons: More light in the commons area
Room was clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Receptionist allowed me to check in prior to check in time. Hotel was dated and had little lighting in the commons area and around the indoor pool. There was a lot of noise coming from somewhere in the commons area as well, possibly from the arcade area, and any noise in the large open room was very easily heard. The large, open room was also very cold. I was there during the winter, but the room was not heated well. I could not hear excessive noise from within my room, however, and my room temperature was decent. It is a good hotel for the price. You get what you pay for.

We'll be back!Posted Dec 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, altho in need of a couple of updates (carpet, paint). The common area is beautiful and has tons of space to lounge, eat, and entertain. The staff was always courteous and very helpful. The hotel was always quiet and peaceful. During our stay, it was fairly deserted. I'm guessing that was due to the location (it's off I-70, but not right by campus or shopping or Hwy 63) and that it was Christmas break in a college
