I've been asked to censor the profanity in my review, so here goes: I reserved a SMOKING room & was told there wasn't one available upon arrival. Will make my reservations WITHOUT Expedia in the future. Apparently, amenities can be taken away without notice. I suggest you dummies study the definition of RESERVATION. Finding a last minute replacement room was a nightmare. Thanks a whole lot, jerks.

The bottom line is that the clerk did not care whether I stayed at the property or not. He cancelled the reservation when I asked about another room because the room was giving had a foul odor, the ceiling looked as though it could fall at anytime and the deadbolt did not work so, the room could not be secured. Lastly, the clerk found humor in this situation.

The people was very nasty about the condition of both rooms they offered and they knew that I couldn't get my refund as fast as I paid for the room leaving me to sleep in my car.

Worst experience
When we first arrived the man only gave us two towels and there was 3 people he said I would have to wait until in the morning to get more so I had to walk down at 5 am to get more towels, so no big deal I can do that. We get in the room one of the beds was broken so it was slanted. Then we get up in the morning to take a shower no hot water at all. It’s freezing cold water and it’s cold outside so will probably be sick. Would not recommend this place and will never stay here again.

Honestly, if I could give them below a one star, I would, the hotel was nothing like the like the pictures. When I walked into the room, the walls were filthy, the comforter had holes in it, the towels were dirty, the water wasn’t hot. It was all around, flat out gross.

Room was filthy, originally placed reservation for 1 king bed, upon arrival I was immediately told there were no one bed rooms available. Stains and dust on every inch of the room, no towels, tissues, or even a bar of soap were to be found. Beds were overly worn in and I could feel the misery of every single customer before me that had slept in those beds.

I’m didn’t feel safe at this hotel. I had a non smoking room-smelled like smoke-burns in comforters-the sink faucet was loose to the point I thought it might break. There was food someone left in the microwave-obviously the cleaning people are not through because the room wasn’t clean-got ice and there was huge puddle-ice machine as leaking.

Wasn’t expecting a 5 star room, but was surprisingly clean, pet friendly and beds were comfortable. Only bad thing to say was the toilet wouldn’t stop running but nothing terrible for a quick place to rest.

Needs renovating in the hotel rooms. Mold in bathroom ceiling. There was burnt holes in blankets &sheets, pillows were dirty inside the pillow case, there was a smell in the hotel room. It did not feel comfortable for 1 nite stay. Staffing was nice and professional but the hotel needs AN UPGRADE!!!

Man at desk was rude. No toilet paper, soap ir shampoo. Place stunck loke stail musky smell. Dead bugs in bathroom. Refrigerator didnt work. Ac worked poorly. Appears this hotel cares more about getting monet than using some to keep hotel nice. I will never go back to this place again.

God awful place on 1 in Columbia SC red robin
This place is the most God-awful place I've ever stayed in my life. the only reason I stayed is that I was so tired at 3:30 in the morn I Didn't have the Is energy to fight for my money back orto try and find another Place.First miss personality at the thewindogforgotot to give us our remote control for the t v. She didn't bother to tell us that the rooms were in this condition. First you pull up the drake you're open a little crooked but okay. You open the door and there's where it hits you. It smelled like a mill dude stuffed stuffed animal wrapped in cigarette smoke was Is filling the room. There were face plates on the wall where either the wires had burned and they covered them up and didn't bother to paint holes in the bathroom. Wall the comforters on the bed had holes on them. None of the lights work except for the overhead none of the bed lights nothing. The air conditioner didn't even have a plate on it on the front to direct the air. It was so dirty it probably rotted off. There's no coffee pot. The refrigerator is rusted. The door did not even shut good so you could lock it. It was scary but again I was tired.the floor is greasy. It is gross stay away I took pictures. I'm sending it to corporate office. put a name on something like this named red roof if? I were corporate I closed their butts Down. Even this site I'm Trying to add pictures and won't let me so maybe they? Your money in. These? Places. Shouldn't even be on here? The pictures don't match it's horrible

I would never recommend anyone stay here. It’s a drug infested area. My room was extremely dirty, the staff didn’t want to change my sheets that had stains all over them. The walls were filthy the shower curtains had mold all over them, the hot water didn’t work in the sink, the room smelled like heavy cigarette smoke.
