Pros: My husband went down for the continental breakfast and he said it was ok.I did not try that.
Cons: Communication between the hotel and the third party to accommodate the customer. We had stayed there before and it was ok.3rd party booking was a prob.
Location: The hotel is located near the University of Missouri College campus, only a short drive from the football stadium. Not much else to do.
We arrived early on Friday and was given keys to a smoking room.My husband nor I smoke and I shared with the young man at the desk.He explained that I booked the room through a third party and they could or would not change the room.He gave me a small box of snuggle's sheets that you put in the dryer and he advised me to put them in my vents, that may help.If I had been offered to pay a little bit more to upgrade to a non smoking room, I would gladly have done so.Our tissue box was empty and never changed. We left the room for the game and we returned the room smelled stronger with smoke.I wondered if housekeeper may have used it to smoke. The microwave did not work at all.Cigarette burns on our sheets and the bathroom counter. The worst hotel experience ever for us.I will never return to this hotel.

Poor value for "newer" facilityPosted Oct 21, 2013
Cons: Furnishings don't fit the new place and the price point.
Location: Easy interestate access without Hwy 63/I-70 traffic jam
Booked a room for two adults and a child, given a room with one queen bed...that math doesn't work out. Dated decor in a "new" building can only mean they bought out someone else's remodel items. Washer & dryer looked very old and beat up too. Paid over $250 for two nights of this experience.

Alright for the pricePosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: It is more affordable than many right in Columbia, there there's a tradeoff between affordability and quality. Lobby and breakfast area were nice.
Cons: Vacuuming could be improved, esp. along the baseboards. The countertops should have been better cleaned. There were a few hairs in the shower.
Location: It is located on the eastern outskirts of Columbia and so is about a 10 minute drive to the University campus and downtown Columbia.
I first stayed here last year and ended up staying here again because it's so much cheaper than places closer to campus. My room was designated a suite but it was a very oddly configured suite. Essentially, it was the extra space left over in the floorplan, and they made it into an extra large room. However, it wasn't organized into separate mini-rooms like a true suite...it was just one big, somewhat oddly shaped room. Thus, the loveseat and chair were directly across from the beds, and had no view of the TV. There was a fridge and microwave by the window, and a breakfast bar and sink near the bath. The room was at the south end of the hotel and thus right by I-70, so there was lots of traffic noise. The room had quite a few nail pops. I travel with an air mattress for my back and a CPAP for my nighttime breathing assistance, both of which must be plugged in. The electrical outlet by the nightstand was about half-broken, so that was annoying. The young man working the front desk the first two nights was taciturn and only helpful to the minimum extent possible. There were a number of silverfish (an insect) in the room. I know what they are and am not bothered by them. However, I told the front desk the next morning so they would be aware of them. Many travelers would think they were bedbugs or roaches, but they were not. It may sound like I'm being hard on this place, but I've stayed at much nicer Super 8s. This one needs just a little TLC to make it a much nicer place. I

Good resting placePosted Sep 11, 2013
Location: Hotel is just off the highway. Sonic and Subway nearby.
Great price, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and polite service. My only point against this hotel is that the walls seemed thin and our neighbors we knocking on their door or slamming their door often and we kept thinking it was ours.

Good hotelPosted Sep 7, 2013
Nice hotel, especially for the price. The only issue was the lack of a rollaway bed.

This hotel is not the best, but it is not the worse either. You get what you pay for. The service was horrible. They never had any clean towels. They would lie all day; saying " the towels are in the dryer". I will not be staying here again.

Ok for a nights stayPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: The room was clean
Location: A pizza/greek restaurant in walking distance, "Georges"
The pool was ok but the strength of the chemicals in the hot tub made it unusable. The breakfast area had little selection and only one waffle maker created aline with a wait of 10mins or more.
