Had a grwat stay. When we arrived it was clean but a couple of surrounding rooms obviously had staff staying in them. They did a little bit of there own thing at night which was fine but when we returned the 1st night the aroma had made it into our room heavily. The 2nd night when I went to the restroom a cocharoach appeared. Not 4eal happy with that. Thank goodness I only saw the one or I would have flipped a noodle.

Housekeeping could do a more thorough cleaning rooms after each checkout’s visit, there was hair around in the bathroom and other places but overall it was good for the price. Check in was quick and easy, front desk was very friendly.

This property was not for me. No hair dryer or shampoo or conditioner. Bathroom small and old. Good price but not my vibe.

Rooms have been recently redone and are nice. Facility was well lit. Area is a little "iffy", but we didn't have any issues. Traveling with pets limits where we can stay.

It was rated 8.2 really. You let me down Expedia. It was old right on top interstate. We had 1 small bar soap & no shampoo. They did replace furniture. Lobby looked worn out. One small coffee maker in lobby for coffee no lids & dry creamer. We were wore out & weather was bad. Leary of your ratings now.

What was so unique about the property and one of the things I enjoyed was the dog the have in the check in/check out lobby to greet guests. That dog was such a sweetheart and the front desk staff were very helpful and understanding of our situation with an issue we had on the last day.

I can’t thank the staff enough. I was in the middle of a move from the midlands to the upstate and they allowed me to check in early. Very clean and quiet. I was able to get plenty of rest

We arrived at Motel 6 very late after another hotel gave away our room. Staff was pleasant. First glance, our beds looked fine and room looked updated. Upon settling in, we noticed our room was quite dirty. Hair on the walls and floor, the tv had something smeared on it, the sink faucet was sticking up out of the counter (so it wiggled) and the next morning, out of the three towels we had, two were very dirty with black smears. I would not recommend.

It was an adequate place to stay, however, the room was minimal for even a Motel 6. Phone wasn't even hooked up to the wall. Not really bad, but nothing to brag about.

The Motel is newly renovated, so tidy and neat and fairly clean. However No coffee machine, No Kleenex, No shampoo or amenities at all. There is a 100.00 deposit fee, ( way too much) plus they billed me the room fee as well so did Expedia billed us the fee. Sure hope they sort this out. Rooms on the front are crazy noisy and rooms on the back too.. many Partiers. A disappointing experience.

The staff were very nice. The price is reasonable. The coffee was good but had to travel to the office for coffee. No coffee pot in the rooms. The floors were just mopped when I went in. Did not get all the pubic hair out of the tub. Noticed when I was showering. The alarm went off at 5 a.m. and again at 5:45 a.m. Did not like when I went for coffee at the office I met a pitbull peeing around the corner. Glad he was on a leash cause he sure gave me the eye.

Very friendly staff and a sweet friendly dog to greet you at the entrance. Managed by Hindus maybe. No coffee in the rooms but only in the office area. Hot water takes a long time to get warm as hot water heater is down low. Litter in the back of property on a Sat. night was not good. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, and TV. Floors are nice and linoleum with no carpet. Good deal for the money. I had a non smoking room.

The property was conveniently located for our needs. But to be frank, this type of place is no more than basic accommodations. Make sure you bring all the necessary items needed for your stay as there is nothing but towels available.

I had high expectations of this Motel 6 because I read great reviews saying that it was fully renovated in the last 6 months. Looks like it was, but it was a sloppy renovation, e.g., the paint in our room had sloppy edges and drips onto the counter and tub; the drywall area around the bathroom door was patched REALLY sloppy, and the door didn't close. The location is right on I-26, which I didn't expect from looking at google maps; thought it was further back from the road. The new floor is plank flooring, not carpeted, which is nice in that we didn't have to worry that someone's pet had peed on it, but we could see every speck of dirt on the floor. Having said that, the plusses were that the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the sheets and towels appeared to be new-ish, and the microwave and fridge were clean and new. The internet service worked fine.

The non-smoking rooms definitely had previous people smoking in them and the room has absolutely not been cleaned before we arrived. Old contact lens sitting on the bathroom counter and stains on the sheets.

I stayed 2 nights. THERE IS NO LAKE. Keep something on your feet. The floor was soooooo dirty. The toilet was dirty. It was dried up pee under the seat. They spot clean. Only 1 working ice machine. No bulbs in the lamp. I asked for a bulb and never received it the 2 days i stayed.

For starters, the shower was not the cleanest. There was mildew on the shower curtain and the room smelled "stale" overall... even after letting the air conditioner run for a while, it still smelled. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door. Also, eventhough I paid through orbits and the clerk wanted a deposit for incidentals, they still charged me for the full cost of the room, and of course it'll take 3-5 days to process. Overall, it served the purpose, but I won't book there again.
