“Travelodge Columbia West”

hen I booked this hotel online, they were advertising a complimentary Cracker Barrel breakfast. Of course seeing this made me want to book the room for our stay. However when we arrived and I asked about the breakfast, I as told that they were no longer offering th complimentary breakfast and the lame excuse was that not enough guests were walking to the restaurant. I found this to be a very odd reason being that it was directly in front of the hotel!!! Needless to say I was very displeased with the false advertising and made it clear that I would not be staying with their hotel ever again, anywhere!

“Not Again”

The room was not real clean, kind of run down, and the fan in the bathroom was so loud you could hardly stand it. The neigborhood was not the best and the free Cracker Barrel breakfast was limited to the two dollar menu, they did apply the two dollar credit to anything else on the menu. But it was hardly free. If your driving and need a place to crash for a few hours this hotel is not so bad, but go some were else if your with your family or if your going to be there a while.

“What maid service?”

We booked this hotel late on a trip to Darlington, SC for the races. We were looking for something that would be easy access on and off I-20. Unfortunately, this came with the price of a room that was not only average in terms of cleanliness, but we never received any maid service on any of the nights of our stay.

“Fork over the extra ten dollars and go elsewhere”

The room were clean...the overwhelming aroma of bleach confirmed this immediately. We had to air the room out before we could sit there. ALthough it is Spring Break time the pool was not open or even close to being ready. The pictures on Expedia do not show the hotel in its true colors. Old but clean. Breakfast consisted of two types of cereal, coffee, and pecan rools out of a box. I would only rate this a 2 star hotel. Their rate only includes two people. Every person after two is $5 per night. I would have rather forked over the extra $20 upfront for another hotel.

“dirty room”

the room was filthy, past dirty. i wouldnt even let my dog sleep in there.

“Would not go back.”

Room was dirty. Had to have the keys programmed everyday. Did not get daily room service and when we did get it they did not bring coffee cups made the bed once in 4 days. Towels were so rough they were scatchy.Overall was not a clean place and run down. Continetal breakfast was cereal os small muffins As a rule I am not hard to please but I would not recommend this to anyone..
