“Great location and service”

Great location, competent friendly staff, clean and tidy room

“Best place in Hood River”

Lovely location, dinning room overlooks the river. West wing rooms are noticeably nicer than the East wing. Would spring for the riverside room if it wasn't a business trip.

“Very impressed!”

The hotel's setting is very picturesque, with a short walk to a nearby park where you can watch the wind surfers and sailers. The food was exceptionally good and the service in the restaurant was outstanding at dinner, a little slower at breakfast. Definitely would return there if I make another trip to Hood River.

“Outstanding stay!”

Very nice place and great staff. Very clean room with comfortable mattresses-- and a choice of pillows! A rare treat. Beautiful location looking up the Columbia Gorge (riverside rooms only of course). The food in the restaurant is excellent-- Creative and exceptionally well presented! Cons: Our only (minor) criticism is that they charged for a rollaway we needed for our 2 year old- an amenity that is provided gratis at most places we have stayed. Overall a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay and came away very relaxed.

“Very Nice Hotel!”

We were in a new section of the hotel and had a room without the view. I'm sure the view rooms are wonderful. The room was very nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The pool and spa were very close by and though we didn't use them, looked very nice and had a wonderful view of the Columbia river. Our room came with a breakfast voucher. This was not the usual breakfast at motels but a full restaurant with great choices on the voucher. We'd definitely stay there again.

“Great Comfortable Stay”

I love this place! The river next to the hotel, the great staff, the SUPER comfy beds, and really, how often can you say that about hotel beds?? Mounds of pillows, extra pillows and blankets. This Best Western wants you to come back and to stay a good long while. I love this place!

“would stay again”

Clean and plush room. Restaurant had a beautiful view of the river and surrounding hills. A walking path ran along the back of the building, right along the river. Was within walking distance to downtown and restaurants and shopping.

“Hood River Best”

Very nice hotel right on the Columbia River. Free Breakfast and 15% off the dinner menu. But, the next morning I could not get the internet to work. They were going to "reboot it" but, never did.

Very nice breakfast selection included in lodging price. Restaurant - Riverside Grill is also very nice. Views of the Columbia river and excellent breakfasts and dinners. Short 15 minute walk along river and pedestrian paths to heart of downtown Hood River. Numerous wine tasting opportunities in downtown Hood River, OR also.

“Wonderful Stay”

We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone. Excellent food and service in the restaurant along the river.
