“Impressed”

This was our first time at this hotel. It is newly remodeled and very nice. Very comfy bed and very clean room.

“Beautiful room”

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and fell in love with this hotel. It was high quality through and through. We had a one room villa, which wouldn't have been great if we had our kids with us, but was perfect for us. One big selling point for us is high quality sheets and towels. We hate typical hotel comforts, and very much appreciated the higher quality sheets, towels, etc in this hotel. Two drawbacks could be a lack of it's own restaurant, and there was no "property" to speak of. Both of these were essentially addressed by the hotel next door, which had a great landscaped garden and viewpoint, and a full restaurant. There were paths connecting the two hotels. Very friendly staff, everything was spotless, we had a great trip.

“Not close to downtown area but on the river!”

The villia's were very nice. Upscale finishes and touches throughout the room, well worth the $ since there is very little moderately priced options in Hood River. About 5 minute drive to center of the city.

“Great Hotel in Hood River”

I stayed at this hotel for the first time in July 2011. Very nice hotel room. Spacious and comfortable, and the value was good. The property is right on the Columbia River so there are very good views. I really liked the quietness of the property and the rooms have good sound insulation. Front desk person was very helpful, but they don't have anyone in the office after 9:30 or so. Heaven forbid if you should lock yourself out of the room and don't have the phone number of the maintenance person to come and let you in. Also, the property does not have a restaurant so you have to go off the property to eat. Overall, I liked the hotel and the rooms, and I will stay there again if I go back to Hood River.

“Beautiful river hotel!”

I booked this hotel through an Expedia coupon, so I got a great rate. But even if I had paid the full rate, I still think it's a great deal. Most of the rooms here are condos, but function great as hotel rooms. The bed was wonderful, there are Keurig machines in every room, and it was a fantastic stay all around. The bathroom's great as well!

“Cozy!”

Despite the situation of office was closed upon our arrival, the room was very cozy. We stayed in the River View room, it was a small room but the decor and view compensated the size. We missed the tub but the double showers are awesome, if you like coffee, the complimentary one is available at the room is excellent. Bed is not the greatest but is comfortable.

“Don;t go here if you want to sleep”

Although a nicely appointed "condo", we only got use of a very small part of it for the very high price we paid for the overnight stay. The sleep number bed was horrible, and the cargo trains came by under our window every 40 minutes. This is NOT the place to stay at all.
