“Good Value”
Reasonably priced motel offering clean rooms, comfortable beds and most amenities in an area that does not have much choice in accomodations. Breakfast is included.
“Thank you”
It was pleasing, but for its price it was superb. I had to check out a day earlier than I had reserved for. the owner was kind and understanding and refunded my money. That was really nice of him.
“Bar hopping in Stevenson, WA”
the front desk administrator barely spoke English but his supervisor over the phone was very helpful. We missed the continental breakfast but overall it was a great and non-expensive place to stay! :)emily.
“I'm hungry!!!”
Middle of the road small town motel. They should pump up the so-called breakfast.
“It was our only option”
The Rodeway Inn benefits greatly from being one of the few inns in town. Overall quality of the Inn is about as you would expect from something in this price range. The biggest complaint would be the distinct, recently been smoked in smell, despite being in a non-smoking room.
“Nice enough place; no need to cross over to Cascade Locks”
There rates are pretty reasonable, and the room was fine. Everything worked except for one light bulb. Plenty of hot water, good shower head, clean tub. The "continental breakfast" was barely breakfast though.
“All Aboard All Night”
This is one of those places that seems to be slowly withering from a lack of professional maintenance. The initial tell-tale signs are the spider webs in the outside walkway railings and eaves. Inside, there was at least a 3/8" gap between the door and the jamb on the handle side and the security locking device once latched was almost impossible to unlatch. The wallpaper was peeling away from the walls. The curtains would not close all the way. The bed, although firm, actually squeaked when you changed positions on it The commode flush was glacial. The chair was rickety. The wireless high-speed internet brought back memories of dial-up days. The continental breakfast was Spartan. Right across the street is a mainline RR track over which a fully loaded freight train rumbled about every 30 minutes all through the night. On the plus side, the room was clean, the staff was amicable, and the price was economical compared to other establishments in the area.
“Good budget hotel, a bit of noise from traffic.”
This is a Clean, budget hotel. Bed was acceptable.
“adequate”
The hotel stay was fine; I have no major complaints. It was exactly what I was paying for, which was just a room and a bed. I didn't stay more than just a single night while salmon fishing nearby. I did call ahead of time and warn that I would be arriving late. The person that answered the phone was very courteous and said that's fine, no problem. But then when I got there late, the office was closed and I had to ring a doorbell and wait for a few minutes (wondering if I was going to end up sleeping in my car). When someone did finally come out, it appeared that I woke up an extremely cranky foreign gentlemen that said only one word to me, my room number. I was just a bit uncomfortable. I would probably stay there again, but only by myself and for the same purpose as this stay, because it was cheap. I would never bring my wife or family there. The room was no smoking, but it stunk pretty bad. I couldn't care less, but my wife and kids would have hated it.
