Okay, nothing to write home about.Posted Jan 5, 2015 on Hotels.com
A basic place to stay with a basic breakfast the next morning. A little crowded for a double room-bathroom is set in corner at entrance to room so if door open, it blocks the way. Clean and basic. Grainy TV picture and fluttered at times as if satellite needed to be re-set. Front desk staff seemed bored-could have been more friendly and accomodating. Overall, not a bad place, although wish it had a small fitness center since only outdoor pool and no other way to exercise in bad weather.

A dump and the manager is a jerk.Posted Oct 3, 2014
Cons: Better manager/owner
Location: Dalles, or
Tried to cancel and was 2 hours too late. Free cancellation by Expedia evidently means by 4pm. The manager of hotel would not make an exception. We were put on first floor in a wheel chair access room. When you took a shower the whole bathroom floor flooded and you had to walk through the water to use the toilet or sink. It smelled like mold. The whole staff seemed very unhappy. Observed manager interaction with a repair man. Not a nice guy. Pool was unheated and about 70 degrees.

Thin walls, smell of smokePosted Sep 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Cost was way too much for this inferior room which reeked of stale cigarette smoke, though it was billed as a non-smoking room. The thin walls allowed all hall sounds to resonate. Mattress was average.

Great stay for pricePosted Aug 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Not bad at all for the price. Not a lot of amenities, but for the rating level, it was excellent.

Filthy, run down dump.Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING!
Cons: Tear it down and re-build a new facility.
Location: Several stores were near by.
Upon check in on Saturday afternoon about 1:00 PM, staff lady at the front desk was either having a very bad day or is just an overall grump. The room was "cleaned" by house keeper but was filthy. The shower curtain was falling off the wall were the screws were pulled out of the wall. The knob to turn on the water for the shower was broken and about to come off. Temperature was very warm in the room and the "cold" air of the air conditioner did not work. Walls are paper thin allowing every door shutting, person walking in the hallways and talking to be heard with little ease waking us up many times throughout the night. Sheets on the bed had large holes in them. Overall this place is a crap hole and I wouldn't allow my dogs to sleep here.
