Villa Columbia Bed & Breakfast, suprising comfort and attentionPosted Dec 20, 2009
Having looked for a place in River Hood for my 4 days stay to go skiing on Mount Hood Meadows, I found this B&B via Expedia. It was not real low price, but it would match my criteria for being in the center of the village (restaurants on a walking distance) and having a parking lot to put my rental car. Having arrived I encountered this villa with a high level of fine decoration and furniture, a bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a simple but effective jacuzzi bath (for the after ski muscle relief;) and an amount of towels, soaps, etc. Good internet. The hostess served a wonderful fresh fruit breakfast in the morning (and all other kinds of breakfast types as you might expect) with a beautiful river view, and supplied even a great sandwich for the road, with fruit and energy bar. This was all more than I expected, and giving a full scale 5 points on every item may not look like an independent review, but this kind of stay was the best I can imagine.

Wonderfully clean, great hostessPosted Jul 22, 2008
This bed and breakfast was wonderful. The rooms are all newly redone in this historic home. Bathrooms are wonderful, breakfast was fabulous and we couldn't have been welcomed more graciously. We would always stay here in Hood River when we return.
