“Columbus Baymount”
Very clean and convenient

Clean, Frendly, meet needs.
“I will never go back!”
Upon arrival, my wait time to check in was delayed for about 5 minutes. I was the only person there! Once I received my card, I went to my room to take a short nap before running some errands. When I awoke, there was a bug crawling on my pillow! This wasn't a spider, nor was it a lady bug, but it seemed to be a relative of a roach. I captured the bug, brought it downstairs to show to the manager. The manager had apparently left and wasn't returning until tomorrow. The woman who told me this could not help me in the least bit. Needless to say, my night was a constant check of creepy crawlers in my sheets. The next morning when I went to check out, the manager pretended as if he did not get the report from the previous day. He then asked me what kind of bug it was. I'm no bug expert, and the simple fact that a bug was crawling on my pillow didn't phase him. I asked him what could be done, and he said nothing. I am now in the process of reporting this hotel. Very dissatisfied! Please, consider another hotel over this one. Every human being deserves better!
“Good overnite stay”
Our room was nice and clean. The front desk people were very helpful. Loved the fresh baked cookies and newspaper.
“Non Smokers Beware”
Had a non smoking 4th floor room that had an overwhelming odor of smoke. We had requesteda non smoking room and ccording to the sign on the door it was. The problem is that the whole floor was filled with cigarette smoke and at times it was overwhelming in the room. Awoke to the very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the night. Also was not the cleanest since when w arrived to the room there was a sticky popcan ring on the nightstand. Obviously had not been thoroughly cleaned.
“Baymont not impressed”
I only have two issues really although there were more, the beds were really horrible I could not, did not sleep well at all. I felt every spring in the mattress please update your mattresses. secondly the back alley location.

The Hotel is showing it's age and the owners could do some things to make it look and feel fresher. Overall, would stay there again.
“Don't waste your money”
Arrived late at night 11pm. Had to wait 30 min. to be buzzed into front of hotel just to check in! Housekeeping woke us up at 8am and then when we went down for breakfast they came in and threw away food that we had in the room before 10am! Will never stay again.
“Not Impressed”
Bums hanging out in and around parking lot asking for cigarettes and money Rooms were ok untill you checked sheets they all smelled like mildew No way is this a 2 and a half star hotel

Decide what matters to you and select your hotel by looking through that lens. When you'd describe the rate as "dirt cheap", just recognize that both of those adjectives may be equally accurate. The room was clean, so housekeeping holds up their end. Everything else, though, gave the impression that management pays little or no attention to maintenance or general upkeep of the hotel. For example, when the plants in the lobby die, just remove them (rather than leaving them as a testament to inattention). One of the two waffle makers in the breakfast area didn't work. Rather than (again) removing it, the staff left it out on the counter. And it's not like there wasn't a place for broken items -- the hot tub room adjacent to the small fitness center had butcher paper over the glass to obscure the piles of unused furniture and other assorted clutter that had been accumulated. Another minor item that symbolized inattention: The sign and plastic rack inviting incoming guests to help themselves to a fresh-baked cookie. I didn't detect any evidence that there had been any cookies there for a good long while. If the hotel room is dark at night, clean and the bed is comfortable I'm pretty easy to please. If those things aren't in place I'll leave. Poor upkeep of common areas isn't cause for me to get back in the car and keep driving but it will keep me from returning to a property. Count this property in that "won't return" number.
