Old hotel and not in a great area. The hallways smelled terrible. We had a room with a sliding door that faced the front of the hotel and no tub.

The place is scary

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Updates throughout are necessary.
Avoid this hotel if possible. The bed sheets are cheap and scratchy/itchy. The shower is old and needs repair. The doors into your room have super re-in forced metal frames. I am guessing they did this as they have had some break-ins. The parking lots are kind of scary. I have stayed here a couple of times and there have been weird looking people just sitting on lamp post or on their car hoods. Oh, and I stayed here in part because they claim to have a swimming pool and workout room. Nope. They are both closed for an undetermined period of time. Thanks for letting me know expedia.

hard to communicate with cleaning staff

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: I liked the area where the hotel is located. I liked the reasonable price.
Cons: Get some cleaning staff that speaks english.
Location: I was there to visit someone in the hospital, so, I did not do much else.
It was hard to communicate with the hotel cleaning staff, they could not speak english at all. A pretty nice place to stay for a couple days, but the rooms was a little musty. They need to sprinkle something that smells good on the carpet when they vaccume.

Internet and brochure says they have breakfast, indoor pool and work out room. There was none of these at this hotel.

No flexibility whatsoever with room check in time.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Reservation was made after midnight so it was technically for the following day. Front desk would not budge to move the reservation to the previous day or allow for an early check in, even though they had rooms available. The desk clerk said I would have to wait until 3pm to check in or reserve an additional night.

Pros: It was convenient and affordable
Location: We were in Columbus, Ohio - the exit the hotel was located on did not have much on it but the next exit had lots of options.
We enjoyed the hotel. The bar and staff in the bar were pleasant and the front desk staff were also pleasant.
