“Great location.”

Great place for the business traveller. Only ding would be the TV set up. "Old school" would best describe it. Everything else, was great. The restaurant next door, was unbelievable! " The Hickory House" was a awesome find.

“last time here”

Stayed here last year...great time...this time.....they have gone downhill quite a bit....burn holes....buzzing tv's........changed my room the first day, because of tv...second room ok....until it started buzzing too....however...the staff was fantastic !

“Nice place”

We enjoyed our stay at CandleWood in Columbus. We were hoping for two beds, but I just misunderstood when I made the reservations.

“Absolutely crap.”

It sucked. The room smelled like cigarettes and it was grungy. It was like going to my 83 year old grandmothers house. The room picture they had on the website was nothing like the room we received. I know the little print at the bottom of the web page says "Actual room may vary." but I was assured that that would be the room.

“Plan to stay there again in the future.”

We have stayed there in the past and this was a return stay. We are smokers and have stayed in the non-smoking rooms before, but this time we decided to stay in a smoking room. The room was not as nice as the other non-smoking rooms. It seemed they had taken older furniture and used it in the room, and the bedding was not as nice. But I guess that is to be expected for smokers rooms. Also, the room seemed smaller. Next time we will book in the non-smoking room again. Candlewood Suites is a very nice place to stay in a good area.

“Very comfortable!”

The motel had all the amenities of an efficiency apartment and the comfort of home. The staff was very friendly.

“Would absolutely book again!”

Hotel was very clean and staff was very polite. The only hiccup that I experienced was that they held a room for me that was set up for disabilities but changed it without any hassle. Candlewood Cupboard, a pantry where you can purchase snacks, toiletries, and food items was a nice touch but a little pricy on some items. There is no bar/resturant inside the hotel, but there is one within walking distance. There are other resturants, shopping, and gas stations within a short distance from the hotel. Convenient to expressway and airport. Guest laundry and fitness facility were both clean and convenient to use - each room has a laundry basket to help make laundry easy to do, and pantry does have detergent for purchase.

Gahanna is a very eclectic town - shopping, food, entertainment -Easton Towne Center Reynoldsburg also is nce for shopping

“not going back”

I made my reservation months in advance. When I checked in, they put us in a smoking room and told me that no non-smoking rooms were available. The room smelled so bad of smoke it was disgusting. Overall the room was dirty. we stayed there last year and it seemed better than this.
