NICE but NOT NICE.Posted Jun 2, 2014
The double beds are TINY. Two small adults cannot sleep comfortably in the beds. There was a large nasty, black & yellow stain in the carpet in our room (422). I grew up in Vegas and have never heard of a hotel or resort putting the price you paid for the room on the room key card hold they give. It seemed very snobby to me. We all know the rooms are expensive for that area, no need to display it on a room key. Over-all, the location is prime and the stay was alright. Small rooms. Not worth the price.

Unique and Historic stayPosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: That it is a recycled factory and quite unique and comfortable.
Location: River walk, parks, and an eat street. Free Museum.
We came for a weekend to see the Camellia Show. This downtown hotel is uniquely historic to the area, recycled from an old factory. Easy walking distance to the river walk, eating places, historic homes and parks, etc. Very little traffic on weekends so easy to walk around and sight see. We liked the smaller plump down pillows.

Nice downtown locationPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Location to downtown restaurants and convention center.
Cons: Housekeeping could be faster.
Location: Lots of restaurants. On Fridays there is an open bar night where part of Broadway is closed off and it looks like a street party with a lot of music.
The hotel is across from the Convention Center and close enough to a lot of restaurants and bars in the downtown area. The staff is so nice and the rooms are clean. Housekeeping does take a while to get to your room the next day. It was 2pm and my room still hadn't been cleaned. Other than that , my stay was very good.

Expected a little more from MarriottPosted Jan 21, 2014
Cons: Better, bigger pillows.
Hotel is the best location in Columbus, in the heart of everything downtown. You can stay here and walk to many events, restaurants, etc. The ice machine and vending machines on our floor were out of order, and the three pillows on our bed are the three smallest pillows I've ever seen in a hotel ... and I've been in many, many hotel rooms.

Beautiful Lobby, clean room, convenient to downtown, felt safe, the bathroom door would not stay shut even if locked, could not regulate the thermostat in room and maintenance was called ( still did not regulate).

The hotel is conviniently located in Downtown with lots to do nearby, even on a sunday night. The hotel restaurant "Houlihans" was disappointing. The wait staff was polite and attentive. The food was bland. Something in the restaurant needs replacing (carpet maybe) the stench was unbearable. We moved to the bar where the scent was less noticeable. Highly RECOMMEND Cannon, just down the street. Beer selection was delicious and pizza was Amazing (and as a native New Yorker) that is saying something.

The nicest hotel in ColumbusPosted Jan 1, 2014
This is a very nice hotel in downtown Columbus - very clean and comfortable with courteous staff and in-house Houlihan's restaurant, plus Starbucks. If you have to go to Columbus, this is the best place to stay.

I had not been in Columbus in years. Had to go for my sons graduation from basic. I loved the stay! The staff, food and hotel were awsome. I will stay here again for his airborne school graduation.

Breakfast was 15 minutes late!! I needed to get on the road to the Auburn vs Alabama football game.
