Great location, close to everything (by car)

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Cons: There was only 1 elevator, not too much of a rate, and we could just take the stairs when we didn't have our luggage
Location: There was a bakery adjacent to the parking lot, a shell station across the street and a few restaurants in walking distance.
The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very decent hotel for the price!

basic needs

Posted Aug 11, 2014
No tissues or toilet paper in the room. No housekeeping available in the evening to get it, we had to go down to the desk and get it ourselves. Pool towels were small, thin and ruff.

Cons: They tried to keep it clean. But you can do only few things in this old hotel. Needs a serious renovation on rooms, Hall ways, Elevator and Stairs.
Closer to dwontown. Helpful staff members, but a pretty old hotel needs lots of renovation.

great value, good location

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: great value for money, very friendly staff
Cons: just the incident mentioned above
Location: best book store I have ever seen two blocks away
absolutely loved it other than the very noisy buffoons who came in at 3 am, were excessively loud and really should have been talked to by the management

Totally updated

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Cons: Believe it or not, the shower was too hot and if you tried to add cold water, the pressure dropped.
Staff extremely helpful and knowledgable about surrounding area. Hotel updated, clean. Plenty of free parking.

Convenient to many things.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
Location: This is very close to the German Village with excellent restaurants and a fabulous book store.
We had such wonderful experience with the staff! They were always friendly and had great suggestions for meals and directions. A few people were staying there who needed to be at a tournament by 7:00 each morning and they set out breakfast early--sweet and above and beyond what they needed to do!

Nice hotel close to German village.

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: The manager, Scott, was terrific.
Cons: The commode needed to be fixed and the microwave needed to be fixed.
Location: It was within walking distance of German Village. There were good restaurants and little shops.
The room was clean and temperature was comfort. The bedding was very nice.
