“LOCATION
The service is wonderful, the rooms are nice and modern, the decor is very nice. The hotel bar and small cafe where simply great. The valet was great with in and out service all day. The location, was great it took 10 mins. from an to airport.... It took 3 mins. to short north, a brisk walk to arena district. A brisk walk to river, simply it is the best location to access freeway in 2 mins. and stay downtown is a breeze. We were so pleased... Staying there next year.. for sure.
“would definitely stay again”
My 17 year old son and I were there for his OSU music audition, and we stayed 2nights. Very good, no complaints at all, clean, welcoming, professional, would absolutely stay there again.
“Great Hotel for the Money”
I've stayed at this hotel before and it was just as nice this time as our last stay. We love this hotel.

“Nice Hotel”
Nice hotel, respectful and helpful staff, clean room.
“Great location.”
Was a great location for a Blue jackets game. Easy in and easy out. Great restaurants close by.
“Close to downtown night life, modern/comfy rooms”
Had a problem checking in, but other than that, the bed were very comfy and the room was modern and clean! Very close to the downtown scene. Had a great time!
“First class hotel”
Our reservation was a discounted room and sometimes we have ended up with a second rate room. This one was first class all the way.
“Highly Recommended!”
The Crowne Plaza was absolutely wonderful. The staff was friendly and the lobby area was extremely welcoming. The hotel is near Max & Erma's, where my partner and I ate on Friday night, as well as close to downtown and Short North attractions, including the Short North's infamous Gallery Hop, which we attended on the Saturday night we stayed here. The room was well-appointed the king bed was very comfortable. While the shower and elevators were a little outdated, everything else about this hotel more than made up for it. I recommend parking at the Convention Center south garage across the street... I usually park here whenever I stay in the area. This was a wonderful experience and I'd highly recommend this hotel!
“Okay for a short stay”
For a one night stay, this hotel was fine. The ambiance of the lobby was a bit cold and stark to me. The room decor was nice, but the room itself was a bit small. I'm only 5'3", and the ceiling seemed low even to me. They provide ear plugs and a sleep mask...there's a definite reason for the earplugs. You could clearly hear anyone walking down the halls, and if the hotel had been crowded, I suspect there might have been an issue with noise from other rooms, but can't say for certain. There's also no free wi-fi, which I found odd because the hotel seemed to be geared toward business travelers. The indoor pool is in the basement and is very small. It's also a depth of 5 feet all over, so if you have a child with you who doesn't swim well (which I did) and you aren't very tall (which I'm not), this may be a problem. But the price for the location is definitely worth it. There's a skywalk to the convention center and it's just a short walk to Nationwide Arena. Also a good assortment of restaurants nearby.
