I liked that it was close to the fairgrounds. It was easy to check in but could barely hear the clerk and the place smelled like pot which my understanding was there was no smoking allowed on the premises. The light was burned out when we first entered the room had to use the bathroom light. I would not recommend it to people that do not smoke or for family friendly.

Maybe not the nicest hotel you could get but super close to expo and I think a fair value It's also not the worst motel I've stayed in, somewhat modern interiors

The management was very friendly and helpful. Coffee and a light breakfast with several options was nice. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels. We were able to just walk to the fair grounds.

Room was absolutely filthy. I have never reviewed before. This was so bad. Laminate flooring but feet were immediately black after getting out of the shower! Dirt in bottom of tub. Fridge was gross and didn’t have a knob on the temperature control. Very disappointed.

First thing to check in every hotel room for me is the sides of the toilet and the area surrounding it. There were splashes all over the back wall behind the toilet, and the toilet itself had a layer of pubic hair and god knows what around the base. Bathtub looked like it was about to fall through the floor with all the rot around it. Would never pay that rate for a room like this again.

Crack in toilet tank, stained bedsheets, the tub did not drain after showers (I mean, at ALL), front desk requested we walk down to get our own towels (during a snowfall) , even when they had a maintenance man come up to drain our tub for us. I didn’t get any sleep and was too tired for the Catshow competition. The price was too high for what we got. I won’t use Expedia because of this again.

Planned for 2 nights. Didn't stay past the 1st. Slept in our sleeping bags. Dirty sheets. Overall very dirty and unkempt. Wouldn't even showet the next morning. Left as soon as possible and checked into another hotel. We paid for 2 nights, non refundable. Didn't care. Keep the 2nd night i prepaid $77 for... should have known better

Very old building, front desk/lobby had a musty cigarette smell. Would not have eaten breakfast there if they paid me to. Room was again old, and cold. The old heat radiator barely warmed the room up. Bathroom was small, stained shower and toilet. Guess you get what you pay for.

Newly renovated room on the second floor however the shower insert was not installed properly and not only did it make noises when you were in there but for 10 minutes afterwards. The room was had some small debris and hairs in the shower. Bedside lights did not work at all. You can't beat the location for access to the Ohio State fairgrounds.

You get what you pay for
The hotel was an awesome price and that’s why I chose to stay there since I was only going to be sleeping there I wouldn’t be spending much time in the hotel. However the staff didn’t seem to have very good communication with each other, and I was given a room that was still under construction. They were very friendly when apologizing and got me in a different room which was nice. Overall the hotel campus was not clean, outdoor stairs had trash all over them, and my second room looked like they just finished it up construction wise and hadn’t seen house keeping before I checked in. Overall the sheets were clean, the door locked, the air conditioning and hot water worked, so it was good for one night but don’t consider it for a longer stay

I enjoyed the closeness of the property to the Fairgrounds, where the Equine Expo was being held. The garbage was changed everyday, beds were made everyday, etc. The highway was noisy, especially being close to the merging ramp. That would be my only lament about the property.

The room was dirty. My feet were black from walking in the room. I am almost certain the bed sheets were not fresh. I found hairs in the bed. The shower had peeling paint, hairs on the walls and in the drain. The area felt unsafe and I was surprised to see my car was still in the parking lot when I woke in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone.
