Beds were extremely firm. Not the cleanest place. Be happy to have clean towels. Check in at 3- was told at 2:45 couldn't check in yet, so had to wait 15 minutes. Not a big deal, but better customer service would of processed it.

Don't stay here.

Pros: Nothing about the room. The staff tried to help.
Cons: Smell
Location: Choose a different hotel. There are plenty in Columbus.
Uncomfortable beds. Breakfast was fruit ( an apple to go) and coffee. That is not free breakfast as advertised. Full kitchen with zero in it, not even a spoon or a cup. Awful smell. Switched rooms, then more different smells. If I hadn't paid ahead, I would have left.

I expected more....

Cons: Properly staff the cleaning staff, maintain what you have properly, give raises to the reception staff, don't let people smoke in the non smoking room
Location: We just stopped, slept and went home.
We stayed at this hotel after booking on Expedia.m when we arrived, while they had the reservation, they did not have a room clean. So, since there was no place to sit in the lobby, we sat in the laundry room, which was filthy and disrepair. The staff was very sweet, though and apologetic, which helped the situation. About 20 minutes later, we went to our room, which smelled like a combination of smoke and beans....the whole night. When I booked online, it said this room accommodated two adults and up to one child. So we figured it had a small couch or we could get a roll away. There was a small rickety reclined that he spent the night on. The staff quickly sent up two clean king sized blankets, which helped. Even though right next to the elevator, the room was relatively quiet. The staff said that there was just one cleaning person for the whole hotel, who I felt sorry for. This hotel chain has just let things go to pot and it's very sad for everyone involved. I would never stay there again.

Pros: Location to my son's school OSU
Cons: Should be deep cleaned, vacuumed and ants be removed. It was sooo dirty. There were crumbs in rug and that was attracting the ants
Location: Help move in and move out college students, visit children
Horrible and dirty room. There were ants that were infesting the bathroom (room was on second floor). Put wash cloth on sink counter and immediately there were groups of ants on it. Walls were dirty and look like they had not been cleaned in months.

Friendly staff, hotel is nice but

Hotel staff makes up for the location. The hotel is nicely renovated but I had to request to change rooms due to a trail of ants on the headboard.

Pros: The bed was firm and clean
Cons: Add a coffee maker and limited coffee making supplies, add a soft chair.
Location: Went to a meeting, didn't seek out things to do nearby
Surprised by the lack of a coffee maker in the room, or a soft chair. Just two amenities most cheap motels have that this facility lacked. And although a non-smoking room, the bathroom smelled of latent cigarette smoke. Perhaps the odor was coming through the bathroom air vent. Otherwise, the bed was clean and comfortable. Wasn't expecting too much for the price.

Pros: clean rooms, room size, appliances and good staff
Cons: Clothing racks
Location: plenty of restaurants, stores, gas stations and close to freeway
Was very accommodating, logistically sound and found to be convention ready

They will were helpful in fixing problems. But they need to update everything. my only complaint is the person that works at night is very rude but the the manager was very helpful

Cons: Did not like that there was only one entrance to access our room which was all the way down at the end of the hall.
Our room was clean. This would be a good hotel if staying for a longer period of time since it did have full kitchen accomadations.

Extended Stay America needs an upgrade.

This is a tired property with all the smells of 1990. Room is old and tired, cigarette burns on the bathroom sink. To be fair it was the last room available in the Columbus area when I booked and it was for only a single night, but I wouldn't stay here by choice. Overpriced for the condition of the property but I had little choice. No in room coffee unless you asked for a coffee maker and even then I'm not sure coffee was provided in room. Nice person greeted me at the desk, very friendly staff. Tired Tired Tired hotel
