Boutique style apartment in Columbus

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: The whole ambience of a complete floor of a house in a quiet an quaint part of a big American city.
Cons: Only the initial contact, remembering we were exhausted and lost in a strange city to us. Not a fault of the guest house.
Location: An beautiful low rise residential area with many restaurants and bars close by. Very safe feeling about the German Village.
The only slip up was in communication between the owners and myself via Expedia. It meant the communication about how to get into this annex accommodation 3 blocks from the main guest house got lost in the transmission, but once sorted we entered a fantastic, well appointed apartment. While location was our main criteria for selection, this guest house surpassed all expectation. Cleanliness and great provisions every day - homemade yoghurts and fresh fruit...

Loved it!

Amazing place and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was amazing every morning and the coffee cake was to die for! The lounging area had a fireplace and music playing softly all the time. It was always welcoming to come back to. You almost want to say 'come home to' because that's how comfortable this place is, like your own home. I would probably request to stay on the second floor though, the price is well worth the money spent. First floor room can be hard to get a good night rest in if you are a light sleeper. When they come in to set up breakfast you can hardly hear anything, but when people leave or come in you can hear everything. Other than that it was amazing. I would just recommend a second floor room the next time but it's so close to the city and such a wonderful breath of fresh air from Columbus city life it is a must to stay here being only 9 minutes away from the heart of downtown.

Arnold Classic

Pros: Clean, spacious, friendly.
Loved it stayed during the Arnold Classic. Close to everything. Very clean and big room. The common area was fantastic. Helped myself to the many snack items they had in kitchen. Not to mention the great breakfast in the morning. Well worth the price,
