Staff great; facilities. Needed a lot of work!Posted Apr 5, 2014
Arrived at room which is like an apartment with entrance from outside. Leaves & litter piled against door- in April! Obvious no one had attended to it in days. Room stank. Bathroom door scraped loudly. Moved to different room which was better. Had foldaway couch bed but had to move furniture to use & was awful. They probably did not expect people to use it. Bathroom had been repeatedly patched. Hot water ran out after 1 short shower. Sheets were eondedful-towels were slightly softer than sand paper. Breakfast. Eggs were awful. Sausage was burnt. Waffled were excellent. Several stray cats haunted the dumpster. Overall we expected more from a wyndam stay.

Cute but in a bad neighborhood?Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: The room layout is nice. Large bathrooms
Cons: More cutlery and kitchen supplies such as a frying pan.
Location: Apparently the hotel is in a bad neighborhood, but I've stayed there twice for two different Arnold Sports Festivals and have never had an issue
Staff was friendly and respectful. Gated and need a key to pull car into lot. Was a bit forgetful in informing the patrons that new mattresses were to be put in the room. Found a tag from some clothing in the linens (which means they weren't changed)

Will Charge You FalselyPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Nice big room-penthouse, full kitchen, 2 baths
Cons: staff, decision making process, cleanliness of room
Location: Not a lot during winter
Ok hotel, not the cleanest spots of juice or something on some of towels and fireplace didn't work, no phone in room, one of three tvs in penthouse didnt work, manager doesnt respond to charges or explains and avoids you, only one person who can assist with problems. Over packed with no where to park the weekend we stayed.

Comfortable SurroundingsPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Reasonable rate for the room and what it had to offer.
Cons: Bathtub was showing age.
Location: Within 15 miles of downtown Columbus eateries. Easy access off I 70. Motorcycle Museum and motorcycle sales and parts nearby.
Close to activities of personal interest. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room with easy access from parking area.

Not at all near the airport.Posted Feb 9, 2014
In truth, I ended up not using this hotel. I was in Columbus to visit family and when I told them where I was staying; they were horrified. First, it is not at all near the airport; second, it is in a very "rough" part of Columbus. When we went in to look at it, it was dirty and the staff was surly to say the least. Even though my reservation could not be cancelled or refunded, I chose to walk away and stay somewhere else. BEWARE.

Needs to be cleaned thoroughlyPosted Feb 4, 2014
Cons: The whole hotel needs to be cleaned completely.
The hotel has been used and not well maintained. The couch had crumbs on it, there were no paper towels or dish towels in the kitchen and the bath tub had no support under it so it didn't drain. The bed was so hard, it was physically painful to lay on my side. I would not recommend this hotel.

Get exactly what you pay for.Posted Jan 28, 2014
For sixty bucks I got a studio room with free WiFi and breakfast for a night while attending the near-by Ohayocon. Not luxury (and not too warm) but cheap and close to the greater Ohio convention center.
