You get what you pay for.

Pros: Inexpensive, close to airport, suites instead of single rooms, kitchenettes, outside of hotel is nice looking, staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
Cons: Dirty carpets, not well supplied with dishes, blankets, sheets. Abandoned hotel next door not attractive. Kind of hard to find down small access road.
Location: Close to interstate, easy on and off. Access road in odd place and we missed it first time around.
The hotel is an older one. The suites are nice, but much smaller than they look in the pictures. The sofa beds are not very comfortable. We had 2 rooms. The 1st room had sheets for the sofa bed, but no blanket. The 2nd room had a blanket, but no sheets. Between the 2 rooms we had 7 drinking glasses. The bed in my room had a duvet/comforter, but no top sheet, so I had a choice of using the comforter and being too warm, or nothing and being cold. The carpet was filthy. I forgot to bring slippers, and walked around barefoot.....bad choice. My feet were really dirty afterward. We were not able to hook up to the wifi. My husband called to the front desk and was put on hold until he gave up and hung up. The breakfast was good. The hours it is served were very convenient. 6:30-9:30. The clerk at check in was very nice. If they would clean the carpets and have each unit completely supplied with blankets, sheets and dishes, I would give this place 4 or 5 stars. The abandoned and partly demolished Howard Johnson next door is kind of creepy though. I had picked this place because we needed something close to the airport and inexpensive. It fit both conditions. Would probably not stay again unless needing a place close to the airport again.

Hotel from HELL!!!
Posted Jan 13, 2013
Pros: My favorite thing about the hotel was when I got to leave the hotel
Cons: EVERYTHING
The fact that it took us 15 minutes to find this hotel already had us in a bad mood. Their sign was so small and dim that we literally drove past it twice before we realized what we were looking at. The night shift girl looked like she was walking around in her pajamas, with rollers in her hair and of coarse the rudest attitude to go with her lovely outfit. I signed a no smoking in room policy, and as soon as I walked into the room, the first thing I smell is smoke!!! The ceiling had a hole in it, the floor was filthy, the furniture had horrible stains on them. I don't think I've stayed in a worse place. I complained to the night shift girl and she said that she couldn't do anything about it and hung up the phone on me. By that point I was so tired and angry that I took a shower and got a taxi to the airport about 6 hours early. I was not staying in that dump.

Price reflected the quality.

Pros: N/A
Cons: See note.
Location: See note.
One of the things that bothered me, and some hotels struggle with this, is cigarette smell in a non-smoking room. If a hotel previously allowed this, it is very difficult to get rid of the smell. The offered breakfast was hot/cold but not very palatable. Pre-manufactured egg discs, etc. Also, took an effort to find the hotel - their small sign was hidden by a tree when coming from the interstate, and did not stand out from the other direction. Swimming pool was not inviting. Someone was cleaning it on my last day.

Don't get fooled by the "airport" in the name
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Even though "airport" is in the name, it is nowhere near the airport. The shuttle was broken down, although staff did send a cab and paid for it. The hotel next door is being torn down. The location is terrible.

Easily the best room for the money!
Posted Jan 24, 2013
The room is amazing for the price! Full size kitchen and a fireplace, clean and comfortable bed, couch and flat screen TV. I stay here every time I am in Columbus for work. Only downside is it isn't in the greatest area. Free breakfast every morning includes an awesome make your own Belgium waffle machine, eggs, sausage, bacon and more!

We got a deal-bad location though
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: Comfortable beds and linens
Cons: Surrounding area, hard to get to from the road
Location: Sandwiched between a burnt-down/half-demolished building and railway yard/train tracks of some sort, felt a bit unsafe
Friendly staff, let us have a later check out without hassle. However, the location of the hotel was dismal-sandwiched between a burnt-down/half-demolished building and railway yard/train tracks of some sort, felt a bit unsafe. Wallpaper practically peeling off in the bathroom, bathtub stained grey. The whole place felt damp. The bed linens were clean and very comfortable with plush pillows. We got a deal for the suite for 68 bucks so I guess we can't complain too much. Can't comment on the free breakfast-we never even made it to the buffet in the morning, bed was so comfortable!

Wasnt as clean as before but ok...
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: It was quiet and calm surrounding.
Cons: Cleanliness
I Use to love this hotel, my recent Stay wasnt as pleasing. Unclean room, dishes and some of the staff were a little lazy when it came to my simple request like for a blanket and sheets that they forgott. Not as accomodating as before.

Scary place!
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: Not much.
Cons: The cops to do a shake down!
Location: Run down neighborhood - certainly not a tourist area!!
The hotel is run down, and in a bad neighborhood, but worse than that, there is nightly "activity" in the parking lot. (?) Prostitution? Drugs? Who knows....just stay in your room - that's all we have to say!
