Good accommodations reasonably priced.Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Comfortable and quiet. No real problems.
Went on a two day trip to visit granddaughter for her graduation. Was pleased with the facility.

Not worth the moneyPosted May 13, 2015
First room: it wasn't too clean, poor crack repair in the tub, couch was torn, dirty, and sunken in. Ants in the bed, later to be joined by bed bugs. After sharing my ordeal with the staff, they made amends by refunding the $ and moving us to an upgraded room.

Not Much Luxury in the Suite.Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was great, and the best part of our stay. They had a delicious hot/cold complimentary breakfast with an attendant on duty.
Cons: Update the rooms, and do something about the bathroom layout. We would also recommend less and better furniture in the rooms.
Location: The hotel is in North Columbus, near the airport, in a somewhat depressed area, as several hotels on the street were closed and boarded up.
We reserved two rooms. One was barely acceptable, the other was disappointing. The rooms were small, for suites, dated, and in a depressed location. There were several closed hotels on the street with boarded up windows. Although everything was as advertised, it was missing the wow factor. Only one room had a fireplace, and it wasn't gas, but used wood, which we would have needed to purchase. The bed was fine, but the rest of the furniture was worn, and dated. The room layout and arrangement was such that two people could barely move around comfortably. The bathroom was very small, and only cold water worked in the sink. The room for our kids smelled strongly of cigarettes, though the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. There was no house keeping on weekends unless specifically requested, so our rooms weren't cleaned, and we needed to get fresh towels from the office. The great deal we thought we had gotten was eaten up with extra fees.

DeceptionPosted May 4, 2015
Price of room was "as advertised" + $20. Free breakfast was adaquate but cold. Room was once nice but in need of repair. I stayed because I had paid for it, but I will not return.

Nice hotel in the middle of a bygone areaPosted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Price, breakfast, quaint property
Cons: Somewhat rundown
Location: Rundown... see above.
Hotel is reasonably priced, clean, decent breakfast. The downfall is the location. It is in a once-vibrant area that has since gone by the wayside. Some rundown neglect to the neighborhood.

Home away from homePosted Apr 21, 2015
I love this place. It is my 3rd stay with them and I just can't say enough positive. Staff is wonderful! I did not like the minimalism of the kitchen. We had 1 spoon, folk, knife. We had one broken spatula and that was all our cooking utincils. They have gotten very skimpy on these items. Used to have a better stocked kitchen.

Old and dirty.Posted Apr 20, 2015
We picked this hotel because it looked nice online and there is a hawthorn near our house that is nice. We were disappointed and very uncomfortable. It is actually a motel and is a couple buildings away from an old abandoned hotel. The room was filthy and in bad repair. The sofa bed was actually duct taped! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great, but the motel was in terrible shape.

Close to and easy to get toPosted Apr 14, 2015
Was at an event for 4 days. Hotel staff was kind and courteous. There had been a lot of rain and the carpet in the dressing area and coming out of dressing room to the bed was soppy wet. The staff was quick to try to help the situation. I would stay again.

More interested in Equine Affaire than sleeping!Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was good and surprise free Wednesday dinner.
Cons: Has fireplace but no firewood. Rooms would have been great 10 years ago.everything needs updating.
Location: Columbus has much to offer and interstate has easy access.
The room needed better cleaning around carpet to the wall. Bed board was dusty and kitchen tile floor was sticky with the cleaner which then made the carpet sticky too.
