“Worthington Hilton Place”

My only gripe is the air conditioning was left at 66 degrees and it left the bed with a damp feeling. After a couple hours I turned up the temperature to like 80...just to dry the place out and that helped. I had a tough time sleeping for the first hours. Nice clean room, cool decore.

“Generally a nice hotel”

The beds were comfortable and the oversized flat screen TV is a nice feature. The AC unit was noisy when it kicked in routinely. The room layout was good and had ample space except a very small bathroom. Public spaces were not cleaned regularly. The same items left on the hallway floor and elevator were there for two days and still there when we left. The hotel was in a good location with good restaurants in the immediate vicinity and an abundence of them at the Polaris mall area about 3 or 4 miles away.

Area recommendations

Polaris mall and Easton town center have the best restaurants and entertainment in the Columbus area.

“Fantastic”

We weren't sure how this hotel was going to be. We got it for a great price through expedia!! When we got there, we were very impressed. Very nice hotel. We will stay there again!!!

“Undiscovered Gem”

Lets get the bad stuff out of the way. I would enjoy a better coffee system set up. And I only had 1 choice for flavors and no decaff. Sofa was worn and broken down. they could stand two more luggage carts. Breakfast layout spread seemed a bit stingy. Not enough TV cable channels for choice, and to many commercialized channels promoting the hotel services. No TV guide and could not find one thru the remote. The remote was not user friendly. Other wise this place was a home run. A great choice at a fair price.

Area recommendations

This five minutes from Polaris and easy access. And Hyde Park Grille the best restaurant is in the walking distance.

“Best Hotel Stay Ever”

My stay at the Hyatt Place in Worthington, OH was my best hotel stay ever - and the competition is pretty tough! The staff was amazingly friendly, responsible to questions or requests and always greeted me with a smile and a kind word. The room exceeded my expectations in comfort, layout and amenities. The best was beyond comfortable and the sofa in the suite was spacious and cozy for curling up and watching the (huge!) flat screen TV. And even the other hotel guests were polite and courteous (and that included the bus load of elementary-aged soccer players). The breakfast was delicious and well varied with fresh fruit and some hot entrées. The lobby was comfortable and inviting with many different places to sit and lounge if you desired. I had one minor problem (a missing screw on the security chain on the door) but after bringing it to the staff's attention it was fixed immediately with a sincere apology for the inconvenience. In the photos of the rooms I was concerned that the flooring looked like tile. I was pleasantly surprised to realize the photos were deceiving because the suite was fully carpeted with a stylish carpet that was comfy under my toes. I stayed for 3 nights and it was a pleasure to get back to my room each evening after a day of meetings. Thanks for the great experience! This hotel is located about a 15 minute drive north of the downtown Columbus Arena District. Traffic getting into and out of downtown Fri or Sat wasn't a problem.

Area recommendations

There's a Starbucks nearby... that's all anyone needs really, right? But I'd also recommend a stop to The Book Loft in the German Town neighborhood of Columbus. Then stop next door to Cup of Joe for a relaxing cup of coffee while reading the pile of books you just bought at the bookstore.

“Nothing fancy, especially for the price”

Not more than a basic room, looked much nicer in the photos, kind of shabby and a little underwhelming considering the price. However, the staff was polite and helpful. I would not go out of my way to stay there again, but it was adequate.

“The Hyatt Place is always my favorite place to stay”

I have stayed at various Hyatt Place hotels in travel from the west coast to the east coast and they are consistently a first class hotel experience. The staff is so attentitive from the time you walk in the door until the time you check out. The rooms are always clean. When booking any vacation I always look to see if there is a Hyatt Place first to stay at.
