Don't Stay Here!!!!!Posted Jan 10, 2014
Location: Elevator Brewing Company- great place to eat and great beer.
On the outskirts of the City and is very uncomfortable. More of an hourly rental type of place.

Awful experiencePosted Dec 1, 2013
We reserved a non smoking room and they gave us a smoking room. The front door had a huge gap, allowing a major draft in. It smelled awful and was dirty. It was in a sketchy part of town for sure. We didn't want to sleep in their beds, so when they couldn't give us a different room, we got our money back and went home!

Horrible ExperiencePosted Nov 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Well, I don't even know where to start. I just can't believe that I stayed 2 nights at this place! Horrible! We asked for non-smoking, got a "non-smoking" room, the smoke was SO bad it made my eyes water. Holes in the curtains, blankets from cigarettes. Asked for another room, said they were full, yet we were the only car at 8pm on that side of the hotel. Said that's what you pay for. No I paid for a non-smoking room. Later that night, the swat team came, cops all over, homeless people walking all over begging you for $, or rides, etc. Didn't even get under the blankets, was very disgusting.

Drug and prostitution den.Posted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Microfridge looked absolutely new. Bed was reasonably clean. I didn't get shot, which was nice.
Cons: It could be torn down and rebuilt as a better hotel.
Location: There's a plasma donation center, a planned parenthood and a White Castle where the homeless people like to hang out.
Chose the hotel as a cheap alternative near a conference I was attending. HUGE mistake. The place is disgusting. The outside was littered with trash, the hotel was close enough to hear not one but two major interstates and was even under a flight path. So it was a bit noisy and felt more than a bit sketchy. One of the chairs in my room had obvious, though unidentifiable, stains (see photos), there was a light falling down from the ceiling, a hole in the shower, a hole in the bathroom door, the A/C and the TV were both cracked (though both seemed to work) and only about half of the lights worked properly. If I thought for a second that there were better rooms in the hotel, I would have asked for a new room, but I didn't even want to leave my room to go to the office. Obvious drug dealers/users were roaming the grounds and more than a few likely prostitutes were around too, I even got to see one plying her trade on my way to get something from the vending machine. Basically, if you're not here for drugs or prostitutes, stay away. A friend of mine who is a traveling musician warned me about the hotel after I arrived in the city (too late to change). He said he found needles lying in the bushes. I don't doubt it. Stay away from this hotel and, if Expedia has any decency or concern about it's reputation, it will drop this hotel like a stone from it's listing. (Additional word of warning, there's a Travelodge that appears to be part of the same compound.)
