The lady who did our check in was super nice and took care of us immediately. The location was convenient with stores walking distance. Room carpet were smelly, the ice machine wasn’t working, neither was the AC in the room. The first room we got had a bad smell of gas, we got a different one.

The rooms are very clean except it smell urine when I opened up the closet and we didn't use it. Even the carpet it smells the same like urine. It will be nice to have good breakfast. I ask the housekeeper for towels and toilet paper the day before our check out day but we never got them. Probably of the miscommunication because he was using his cell phone to translate. We couldn't get a good sleep some guests were partying across from our room with door open. The front desk staffs some are rude and some are friendly.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing was not enough water pressure or hot water. I never told the staff, I just worked with what I had.

The pictures on the website are very deceitful. The room was very poor, the shower had limited hot water and turns in the opposite direction of faucets in all of America. We had visitors on our 2nd and 3rd day there called roaches. The website says breakfast included which consist of a piece of toast, granola bar or a pack of oatmeal. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone nor will I stay at another Howard Johnsons.

They charge a 50 deposit, when checking out they said that they could not give deposit back until 11am when they look at room our check out was 7am, they said they would send deposit back to my checking account and send email but they never did.

Bad experience
Good location but not what was advertised online when booked. Its a motel but it was advertised as a luxury hotel. Carpet was ripping off floor. Beds were small and hard. TV didn’t work so maintenance “a random off the streets whom we saw chillin on the side of the road” came in to bring us a new one. He had on regular clothes, no uniform. Very sketchy place. Went to ask for more rags and towels, was told they ran out of rags and would have to wash more. Maintenance man also told us not to eat the complimentary breakfast because it wasn’t worth it. Also, when calling the front desk about the TV problem and towels, they were rude

I wouldn’t advice to stay here
While arriving, I was speechless placing my license on the desk and never placing anything in my hand. The room itself oh gosh let me tell you. Just call me pest control / the exterminator because I felt uncomfortable killing all these roaches, spiders, bugs, especially in the bathroom and beside the bed. This was by far the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had. This should definitely be a complimentary stay. I was here for the classic & just wanted to relax …

Kinda scary
It was by far the most unpleasant stay I’ve ever had. The hotel was extremely dirty, had a smell, and was obviously not cleaned from the previous guest. The front office clerk was additionally very unpleasant and did not provide the accommodations that were paid for.

What a Joke
Hotel was outdated was kinda clean beds were comfortable but we didn’t feel safe Dark areas for parking Front desk lady moved like a snail Front Desk Guy got into a verbal argument with a customer and was using the F word Older lady staying was walking around the pool using language not fit for children who were in the pool Appeared drug dealing going down in the parking lot along with women soliciting men

Do not book here!!
They required us to give a $50 deposit, however, the next day that we left they claimed that we had not given a deposit. We were not given our deposit back because we didn’t have a receipt. They treated us horrible and we will never go back here again.

Great place to stay with great customer service
This was by far the best option for us. It was clean both nights we stayed and I wish I had picked it the other time but lesson learned. I'd post pictures but my grandkids are in them lol The rooms and beds were clean, plenty of towels, working outlets, did not have any bad smells, and the beds were so comfortable. The pool was clean and actually in working order unlike another I had booked at in the area. Thank you Weston and the lady up front for being awesome.

Not recommended.
Other guests complained of bugs. Room smelled like stale cigarettes. Carpet was filthy. Bathroom in disrepair. Service was GREAT, friendly staff.

Not what I expected. I should have looked but in case you all miss it make sure you're okay with exterior entrance to rooms. Beds said queen and they were fulls and room didn't smell fresh. Front desk staff was very nice and friendly.

Older but very clean
This hotel is older and you can see the age. They have tried to renovate and update it. The Hotel is CLEAN and tidy. the carpets could use a good steam clean or replaced. Breakfast is minimal coffee, orange or apple and bagel. They were out of juice, yogurt and milk every time we got there. We are early risers too. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool is sparkling clean but is in the sun so remember your sunscreen.

Great stay, great cleaning staff, but old hotel
The service was amazing, and the room well cleaned. They did not give me a hard time about my dog and did not charge a pet fee. The hotel is old and desperately needs replacement of things like doors and carpeting. You can tell that the employees take great pride in their work and clean everything to their best ability but things that have aged are not replaced.
