Business tripPosted Jul 18, 2014
The hotel needs refurbishing, as the carpets had stains and creases everywhere. The bed was uncomfortable and was caved in the middle. The walls must be thin because you could hear everything in the next room. Never again. You pay for what you get.

Lexington Inn and SuitesPosted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: It was close to our final destination.
Cons: Just about all aspects of the hotel could be improved.
The hotel needs a good deal of updating. A coat of paint and some general maintenance would go a long way to improving the experience. The pool was empty. The first room that we received did not have air conditioning. The electrical plugs did not work in our bathroom. The room was not cleaned properly. The 'continental breakfast' was toast and cold cereal. Worst of all the staff of the hotel could not care less about you.

Pros: Desk attendant was great.
Cons: Clean, remodel, renovate.
Location: Location was just ok, close to highway, close to needs.
OK to stay at. A little older, needs renovated. Was not a non smoking room as stated. The hotel staff was excellent. Room was generally clean.

Cons: Friendlier staff
Location: Baseball, history museum
Hand written signs posted warning about fines for smoking in non-smoking rooms or bringing in pets without letting staff know looked unprofessional

Worst stay in yearsPosted Jul 6, 2014
Cons: EVERYTHING need improvement. Furnishings, linens, carpet, cleanliness, and staff.
Location: Just passing through to another location.
The only thing that surpassed the discomfort of the mattress would be the rocks they deemed pillows. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. Unknown red substance around the air conditioner....overall carpet was nasty. The blanket/spread on the bed was no more than another sheet. Very uncomfortable. Whole place needs updating or, at least, deep cleaning. The continental breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. Overall....worst stay ever.

Price was goodPosted Jun 29, 2014
We booked 7 rooms. Only 1 had issues. It's an older hotel needs updating: new carpet and bedding. Was comfortable. Great air conditioning. Staff was friendly. If your looking for five star service it isn't here but the price fit and the hotel served our needs well.

Nothing to write home aboutPosted Jun 26, 2014
The overall hotel was okay. Upon check in, the woman at the front desk never once smiled or greeted me (an experience that continued throughout my two night stay). The lobby had no AC and the pool was "undergoing repairs" (it was evident it had been this way for awhile as there was a later of grime that had formed). The room was comfortable and was cleaned daily. Their breakfast consisted of toast and bagels with spreads, cereal, some grapefruit, as well and juice and coffee. I probably wouldn't go back but for the price, it was acceptable.

Although the room was advertised as non-smoking it was quite obvious the the room had been smoked in.

Pros: Easy to find right off the interstate.
The hotel was ok for a nights stay. Was not as clean as we would have liked.
