Good hotel for the money

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Hot breakfast. Comfortable room.
Cons: Towels and quality of the wifi.
Location: Located just off Sawmill Rd. and I-270 convenient to restaurants, shopping and the zoo.
Was in town for my daughter's wedding. Every place else was booked up or $150 per night. Queen suite room was fine with two sinks, 2 flat screen TVs, a hide-a-bed couch, an easy chair, refrigerator and desk. Bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful. The towels are the skimpy ones with no fabric softener, so they feel like sandpaper and don't get you dry. Get extra towels. Fortunately, we brought our computers with us and used the in room wifi, because the business center consisted of one PC in the lobby by the breakfast room with one printer. Wifi worked OK. Best part was the warm breakfast in the morning - scrambled eggs and sausage cakes one day and biscuits and gravy the next day. Overall, it was a good value, and I'd stay there, again.

Very nice, comfortable hotel.

Pros: The beds and the fact that each bed has it's own small private room instead of being together in the same room.
Location: It is close to the Columbus Zoo. There are also multiple shopping areas and restaurants nearby.
We booked 3 rooms for the weekend for family members to attend a wedding. Everyone was very pleased with the accommodations. The only problem was a toilet that wouldn't flush properly and it was fixed as soon as we alerted the staff. The beds were very comfortable and it is in a nice area right off of the interstate. We will definitely go back next time we are in the Columbus area.

Nice Hotel

Posted Apr 25, 2014
Only stayed one night, arrived late and pleasantly greeted by night clerk who was busy doing other chores but still took time to be pleasant and helpful. This hotel had the same rating as another one I stayed at earlier this year but there was a night and day difference. This one was clean, comfortable, up to date and the staff was pleasant.

Perfect for the price

Rooms are oddly dark, but perfect for business trips if the primary use is to sleep.

Good Location close to Columbus zoo for Wildlights

Hotel was decent and had pretty good free breakfast. Staff was very responsive to needs and wanted to know if we had any comments about our stay. Could use some upgrading and replacement of furniture, but not significant enough to not stay there again. We had a nice "living room" that was separated from the bedroom by the restroom. Had microwave and fridge too.

Nice Hotel

Posted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Flatter pilows
Breakfast should be open longer than it is. It is only open until 9:30 in the morning. That's not enough time.

I was really happy with the hotel! The accommodations were very nice and clean, and the breakfast was much better than expected. Although I was there only one night, I appreciated the two room configuration.
