MANY PLUSES TO STAYING HEREPosted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Almost everything! I've outlined it all above. The staff and service were icing on the cake. ROOM INTERIOR, BED, LOCATION, BREAKFAST, CLEAN, etc.
Cons: Maybe replacement of stained tubs? Maybe it was just mine.
Location: JC Penney/Walmart/food/gas/great book store/general shopping. Waverly Mansion 10 minutes out of town, downtown historical area/Riverfront Walk.
Moderate hotel that is clean, has great location, many amenities close by, staff who are personable, efficient, available. Room was clean, comfortable, had everything I needed. Not much fancy, yet was in very good shape, attractive, updated, clean. The bed was outstanding from mattress, blankets, sheets, pillows - best bed I've slept in - felt plush with just right firmness, and it was hard to leave it after 8 nights. Vanity/dressing area was pretty, nicely set up. Clean towels white and smelled fresh. PROS: Clean (and I can be picky) Bed / Bedding Air Conditioner (not too loud and ran very well) Shower (worked, large shower head, good water pressure) Staff (attentive) Location (shares parking lot with donut factory, gas station, mini mart; extensive shopping and food district) Full breakfast - hot and cold items, large variety Main lobby and breakfast area nice and plush Main lobby provided hot dish in the evening (not sure if this is every evening - I stayed over 4th of July) Felt safe CONS: A mixture of predominately updated with a bit of older (if the older bothers you) A few cobwebs high up by ceiling Tub (scoured and cleaned twice, it still looked grungy, so maybe they should replace some tubs?) I'd stay here again/would refer to others.

The room was what you would expect. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was good too. It was what you would want to spend the night and then go on to your destination.

Good deal!Posted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean & the bed was very comfortable. It is far enough off of the road that there is not a lot of road noise. The entrance is on the outside but there was plenty of lighting that we didn't feel insecure. I liked the fact that was a tub/shower combo & not just a shower. There were plenty of restaurants close by. The hotel is an older one but it is well maintained.

Probably as good as it gets in ColumbusPosted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
There aren't many hotels in Columbus, so this will probably be your best bet for clean and passable rooms. The staff was very polite and accommodating as well!
